Kitted out? Setting out? Kayta was getting more and more nervous by the second. She did want some food, but she wasn't sure she wanted to eat anything from this crazy world. And now that Carmen and the lizard dude were talking about some Her that had them all freaked out, she almost decided that the three of them were crazy and she'd be better off dead. Almost. Naturally curious, Kayta decided to wait and see who this her was and what kind of job lay in store.

 

Xektai listened with intent, she hopped off the creature and tried to figure out what this weird lizard guy could be on about. She thought it was best not to say anything yet, she wasn't sure what to expect but by God she was excited to find out. Whoever this her was she obviously sounded horrible- maybe a source of this world's problems? She didn't know but she wanted to meet this person and sort this world out!

She listened to Zack and Kayta's comments which made her smile but also feared that there words may at one point get them in trouble. Xektia looked around while her stomach buzzed from hinger, "Oh yes, food sounds lovely at the moment!" She smiled.

 

Zarrid let out a breath and flipped the coin in his hands. It wasn't a regular coin, however. One side had an image of the sun, radiant and red, and the other of the moon, bright and blue. It landed on the moon and Zarrid sighed once again. "Dark times are coming..." He mumbled to himself before he saw Dante hop up from his seat. He followed suit and sauntered over to the entrance. He put on a smile and waved to Carmen, "Hello, Carmen, I trust you've had a safe trip, the earthquakes have gotten pretty bad!" He opened his eyes and then widened them. His mouth fell open and he let out a small moan of confusion. Thankfully, Dante had already asked the question of who the children were. He straightened up and readjusted himself when Carmen said they were guests of honor, here to end the war. He nodded on the outside but on the inside he scoffed. Here to end the war? Pft. If anything these kids will get in the way... He smiled, hoping that with his size and stature he looked intimidating to the young group. After a beat he nodded again and smiled. "Well, let's be good hosts and make sure our guests are fed. They have big things ahead of them!"

 

Dante nodded, "Yes, our guests must be treated like guests of honor." He shot a dirty look at Zach and Kayta, "Now, Carmen, shall we go and give the children a look around?"

 

Kayta saw the dirty look the lizard guy gave her and almost smiled. She was used to people looking at her that way, but she never got tired of it. It had become a sort of game for her. See how many people thought she was so below them, see how stuck up some people were. Of course, she had been talking about him, and who knew, maybe the people of this world had some kind of super hearing. Maybe he had heard what they were saying. Well, so what? She thought. Who says you can't say what you're thinking? Freedom of speech, right? If he doesn't like it, he can go slither away to where he doesn't have to listen.

BIC: Mya got off the creature an followed the rest of the people. She listened to a few of the conversations and wondered what she could do around here.
