"And he doesn't eat vegetables either?" she said stunned, not about the social contact but about him being light.

 

"Oh... a lot's on my mind." He started eating.

Phenox shrugged. "I dunno..."

 

Juxta took a bite out of her sandwich, "What's on your mind?"

 

"Mom, Dad, Rexona, you, whether or not i'll go to college, things like that." Vaxan replied.

 

Juxta nodded slightly, "I see. I probably won't be able to collage though.. Why have you been homeschooling? Mom didn't tell me you were in school am I the only one not schooled?"

 

"I simply asked." Vaxan replied. "I thought you knew."

 

"I asked too but mom said n- crap.. did she not let me cause I was supposed to die yesterday? fuck my fucking worthless life." Juxta said slamming her head against the table.
A waiter walked by and looked at her, "Is she alright?"

 

"Yeah, she'll be fine." Vaxan replied.

 

The waiter sighed then walked away.
Juxta lifted her head then spoke, "Aw crud.. my contact fell out where is it?" she said feeling around the table.

 

Vaxan shrugged. "I dunno."

 

Juxta eventually found it, she put it back on her eye, only to burst into tears right after, the tears were blood red.

 

Vaxan blinked. "Are you okay!?"

 

Juxta wiped her eyes still crying, "Yeah I'm fine, don't worry my tears are supposed to be red." Juxta eventually stopped and leaned against the table hiding her face, "Mom hates me.."

 

Vaxan stood up and sat next to Juxta, hugging her. "Don't say that..."

 

"It's true though.. mom is scared of me, when I go near her she runs off from me.. What did I do to deserve that kind of respect?" Juxta mumbled still hiding her face.

 

Vaxan hugged tighter and kissed her cheek. "You did nothing..."

 

Juxta didn't react to what he said, she just sighed, "What's the point of life if your own mother doesn't love you like a mother should.."

 

"Don't make assumptions until you've heard HER side of the story..." Vaxan kissed her head.

 

Juxta's head slumped forward, "Well it's not exactly fun being the middle child my parents forget about, I mean I haven't seen dad in what feels like a year.."

 

Vaxan sighed. "Then talk to him."
