As you may know the ES dosen't have a keychain to his keyblade, meaning he is not a keyblade wielder, but, in the game when he rises from his keyblade you can see the hole for the keychain, while on the female and the roxas look a like there is no hole for a chain nor on all of the other keyblade.
i think it is connected somehow to the chaser story, maybe chasers can even be former keyblade wielders who want to retrive thier power, all i know he has a keychain hole, and he is the only one but the bald man and micky.

i would like to bring up the fact that WE the fans dont really know anything about the keyblades, only what we ve been told. so what makes every one sure that the chainless keyblades are fakes. maybe their all real but only the ones with chains are the ones with the ability to change form.

yeah think about that (yeah im really sick of hearing this same theory over and over so i thought id say something different)

Well a keyblade is a keyblade and it should have the ability to change forms, they could easly placed more chians in the videos but they didn't only micky and blady has one so i don't think it's a mistake.

i think you may have a point actually
a keyblade cant be a keyblade if it doesnt have chains to change forms
what i think is that its between the time when the keyblade was just used as a weapon other than unlocking keyholes to other worlds

but a keyblade without a chain is a keyblade no less. we dont know if the changing forms is the only thing the chain does but as far as im convinced thats all ive seen it do

look it's really simple. a keyblade dosen't have evolution, at least that's what the game tells us, the keyblades in sunset horizon all dosen't have keychains but sora mickey and riku's keyblades which disappear in the new secret ending... i think nomura just changed his mind about the concept of the knights... true keyblades have keychains blady's keychain proves that keyblades in that time line have keychains and all of the keyblades in sunset horizon look more like distorted and fake copies of the original keyblade, maybe E.S is a former keyblader seeking his keyblade back from baldy and the other knights are his donald and goffy.

i still think the thing about the keychains is overlooked, the chasers can just be people who seek to wield the true keyblade and use fake one since they can... you know, like cosplay maniacs.

but than the keyblade is just like a stupid sword... the keyblade is still the center of this game, making lower forms of keyblades is... well... stupid.

well how about the first theory i had after seeing the short master of the keyblades movie

their all keyblades but 3 kinights traveled to different worlds defeating keyblade masters over time and took their keyblades and broke off the ring for the chains to go on as to seal the power of the keyblades

this theory clearly doesnt workd but it was way before all that new information came out and if you want you can find it somewhere in and insanely mac forum or you can just google zekushino kingdom hearts

It doesn`t matter if the keyblades have keychains or not.
If it was all about the keychains, then the keyblades would
    be called chainblades.:o

P.S.Everyone has keychains on their keyblades except
the E.S. and the Roxas look-alike.

actully everyone dosen't have keychains but baldy and mickey, aqua dosen't have roxas look a like dosen't have one E.S dosen't have, even the DK dosen't have a key chain.
and never the less, a keyblade has a chain they don't have, no keyblade master was ever seen having a keyblade without a chain.

Why don't we try a new spin? Nomura said the secret ending happens in the past...but possibly in the future too. If the crossroads don't exist within a specific time, the three knights and Baldy could have come from four different time periods. The ES and the Roxas look-a-like could be from time periods when keychains didn't exist.

Keychains could be newer technology. When the keyblades originally were made, keychains didn't exist. But eventually someone wonders 'how can I improve my keyblade?' and creates the first keychain. Keychains then become common, and all keyblades are created with a hole for keychains.

did riku's keyblade change? NO, whenever there is an important movie, is the keyblade different NO, ITS KINGDOM KEY. The makers probably just added that stuff so the fan's would enjoy seeing different styles of keyblades.

oh and the Roxas looka like, his name is Ven

That's not confirmed. The words Aqua and Ven could refer to places, objects, or people.

ロクサス explains this better than I could:
    http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=7863&page=37#407

"Ven doesn't mean 'sky' in Latin.

The word Ven doesn't even exist in Latin.

As well, you can't be 100% sure he's talking about people. He said "Aqua.. Ven.. Keyblade". The Keyblade isn't a person, it's an object. One could easily surmise that Aqua, Ven and the Keyblade could be of equal prominence--which therefore does NOT limit it to being people."
