Alright. Since I've got some time today, I figured I'd look around for some sprites to possibly recolor and use for the 'game' aspect of this project (which may or may not actually be possible with some help from Mugen). I've picked out a few characters to recolor and use for certain individuals, and they are as follows: What? ~ Carl Clover (BlazBlue) Sforzato ~ Hazama (BlazBlue)/Yosuke Hanamura (Persona 4 Arena) Reptar's "Heckboi" ~ Iron Tager (BlazBlue) I am still on the fence about a lot of people, but I'll take suggestions from any fighting game with sprite characters. I will only really edit sprites if it's to remove things (like removing Nirvana from Carl).
Well it should be too hard making Advant. Just find a muscly character, take off everything below the waist, replace said removed parts with a cloud, paint it yellow and put pikachu's head on it, then profit!
I was about to complain that my base isn't Azrael but then I realized Chrono Phantasma isn't even on consoles yet how can it be ripped #Nova go to bed
But Hazama. You would be HAZAMA. YOU FREAKING LOVE HAZAMA. And I was actually considering making Advent Azrael if I ever got my hands on the sprites. Oh well, guess he'll have to settle for Kanji or Akihiko.
I did some snooping around for sprites to fit the moves and style from Nova's details, but I can't really find anything :\ What I'm imagining is like some western-y brawler dude but with a gun in one hand. Nothing has popped up fighter sprite-wise.
True enough though not as much as I used to but I distinguish between loving him and being him Honestly though I'm not picky my whole design philosophy is to behave like a butchered M.U.G.E.N. character x x x so the base sprite is nbd
I'd be good with recoloring Naoto. Another thing I'll need are color schemes for hair and eyes, though anyone can suggest colors for clothes.
This is awesome because if you look at the roster, I put What? in Carl's spot specifically because he has a Carlish personality. You may also notice that I put Amaury in Tao's spot and Sabby in Noel's spot. This was intentional.
I'm going to try and recolor a sprite or two today just so everyone else can see how I picture this looking. The finished product will be in this post when I'm done.
I never got to post it, but I made a rough recolor for Haya (Ragna). Spoiler It's really big because it's part of a gif, so yeah. If anyone has suggestions for other spots to tweak, just say the word.
