"Sapphire." Jimmy said. "Let's get going.." JImmy said as he started the ship. "What powers can I possibly have? I haven't seen any yet..." he muttered.

 

Yokai glared at Geryl and followed Jimmy.

 

Jimmy piloted the ship out of Legacy waving at Tifa.

 

Geryl went into the ship still hiding his right arm also with a glove.

OOC: BRB

 

Yokai thought about leaving Cloud and actually started crying a little...

 

Jimmy facepalmed at Yokai.

Suddenly a screen appeared on the ship. The figure of General Shin appeared on it.

 

OOC: Almost done...

 

"Children......" Shin said. "Please do not get near Darkcloud again. I do not wish to hurt you...."

 

OOC: Okay, I'm ready.

BIC: Alan cocked an eyebrow. "I'll go where ever I am needed, insolent being. Now I suggest you plug off before I come to Darkcloud right now and kill you."

He didn't sound boastful...just serious. Dead serious. Like he could do it without breaking a sweat. He wasn't angry either. Calm. So calm....

 

Jimmy grabbed Alan by the shirt and raised his fist. "Shutup!"

 

Alan raised an eyebrow, and the transmission ended.

OOC: Since no one's here, we'll land in Sapphire tomorrow. I'll post as early as I can.

 

"Hey calm down!" Yokai shouted at Jimmy.

 

"He insulted our ally!" Jimmy said. "You show respect to an adversary not threaten them!"

 

"Two wrongs don't make a right! Use your words, not your fists." Yokai muttered calmly...

 

"Hippy..........." Jimmy said.

 

OOC: Well, actually, never mind...

BIC: The ship shuddered to a halt. "If I'm not mistaken, we've arrived," Alan said with a smile. He opened the door and took an involuntary step back.

The blistering air had to be at least 110 degrees, hitting him like a blow. Gritting his teeth, he marched out onto blistering sands. There was a faint shape in the distance that seemed to be a city.

"Bring water," he said. "Lots of water. We've got a long ways to go."

 

"I always do...." Jimmy grunted....

OOC: Okay I'm really leavin' now....

 

"Yeah." Yokai muttered, grabbing some water...

 

Geryl shielded his eyes from the sands.

 

OOC: OK, it's time for the world of Sapphire! Sorry for the wait...

BIC: Alan trekked across the sands, feeling as if his skin were being cooked. Ignoring the heat, he headed for the distant city.

It was longer than he thought. Quickly, they ran out of water...too quickly. They had lost the ship in the swirling sands, and the city was still far away.

Despite the heat, Alan felt cold. And thirsty. He felt like an oven, no a freezer. He didn't even notice when his friends began collapsing...He didn't notice when he did the same, wheezing...

The last thing he thought was: Finally, some shade...

The next thing he knew, he was lying on a bed, clothes set neatly to the side. Hurriedly he dressed, and looked around. It looked like he was in a palace. A maid walked in, saw him, and set her tray down on the table and scurried out.

The tray contained water and two huge sandwiches. Alan's stomach growled, and he ate them hurriedly, then stepped outside to find the others.

He was intercepted by two soldiers. "The others are safe, do not worry," one of the soldiers said immediately. "They are eating. Now, please, the king requests your presence..."

OOC: Let's all meet up in the throne room. I'll take it from there some more, and we'll learn what we need to do here.
