I wanna change my usertitle but I can't, even tho I can change my username. Can I trade my username change for a usertitle change?
Seems like a good deal to me for normals.

    thanks

Doesn't that beat the reason to be a prem? At least one of them. You have 743 posts, pretty soon you'll be premium so why worry?

Well I think I still got a long way to go (aint that much of a poster). But regardless same way normals are allowed one username change they could trade that for one usertitle change till they hit premium.

Quite frankly, even when I reach 1,000 posts, I'll keep the forum default user title.

Wait why can't the normal memebers be able to name their user title. For something so trivial like that it's stupid to wait until prem in my opinion.

Well that's exactly why it's something you have to wait for. The things you get for prem can't really be evry big and grandiose or it wouldn't be fair. So they get small things like custom Usertitles. I agree with Kubo on the whole changeing your UN change for a UT change, but just remember to choose a good title I guess would be my advidce ...

That is, if we can even change people's usertitles manually ...

I am 99% sure this is possible but I don't really like this idea. Less motivation to post and as it is things are less active than it used to be.

That won't happen I promise you that.

There needs to be a difference between premium and regular members. I personally think if anything involving premiums we should make it harder to get it. I liked how it had the rep requirement. That is just my personal opinion.

I'm not too fond of it to be honest, like Lux said it would discourage posting.
It's one of the Premium benefits, and besides, you're not too far off from Prem.

But a lot of other people are.
I'm in the middle. I think it would be fine to allow them one usertitle change, just we do name changes. I think it's a little unfair to make it a choice (you get either a usertitle change or a name change).
Then I think it does take a bit of the prestige of Prem out, even if just a bit so then the choice thing does seem fair.
Eh, I guess I'm neutral on the issue.
We should just change requirements for Prem altogether

    EDIT: Also,
There are people who do keep it as "Chaser" (Premium default)

I'm basically just neutral for this. I mean, aren't we supposed to enjoy this little things in life? Enjoy that usertitle of yours before you change it forever.
And, it's one of the "perks" to get when you get prem

I agree. I want benifits of being premium when i get to premium. It is a mark of achievement that will be worth the wait. It motivates me to stay active on the site and as a result, i have fun and talk to all of you wonderful people.

Try to make a post count goal for each day. Example- post at least 5 posts a day. You can choose more, but just make sure it won't be spam, or else all your work will be for naught.

    We totally should.

Anyway it isn't the fairness that is the issue. But with me you see all of these people who post and post just to get to premium. Lets face it that is how it is with a lot of people. That means a higher chance of spam but when you take away from the thing that is hard to get you make it less "popular" so to speak which means less people will try to go for it. I would rather have more posts and some spam than a lot less posts and people with nice usertitles. Honestly having a custom usertitle is not that huge of a deal. I change mine a lot because I never like the one I have but that is about it. I mean the exclusive things that premiums have are becoming less and less and that is a shame to see.

well, premium is basically becoming more of a milestone than anything. It's not all that big to get to, just a goal because you know you got over 1000 post. I only change mine because I like to pick my own usertitle and not have it chosen for me

But still not having the usertitle that you want won't be the end of the world.

Also guys keep in mind it is not hard at all to get a lot of posts. Seriously just post on topic and post in different places. Why would you join anyway if you weren't going to post?...

what do you think I've done the last few months? And I know not having the usertitle you won't make it the end of the world, people just like a little difference from other people.

That was clearly not directed towards you. You are going to be premium soon anyway so why would you even care?

And well if you want to be creative or different then have an interesting looking sig.

I like the idea of the option to choose between a user title or a username, but if it bothers you that much, just work your butt off and get posting to become a premium. After all, if you desire a user title change that badly, i'm sure you'd have more than enough motivation to get there right? I'm personally not too fussed about whether i one day become a premium or not, but hey if i want it i've just got to post relevant things (not easy for myself XD)

Agreed on the most part with this. A suggestion like this feels somewhat trivial, at the risk of sounding a bit harsh.

On the other hand, a simple usertitle change is not something that can't be done. So either way, it's really not a big issue.

I'm really far from being Premium, and frankly when I do finally get there I'd like it to be something significant. Just getting a splash of colour on my username is all well and good, but it coming with other benefits is part of the reason one should want to become premium in the first place.

In laymans terms; do not want.
