Chain of Memories Chains of Memories Destiny Island

In Chains of Memories, at Destiny Islands. You have to fight the large heartless thing. (I'm tired and I dont wanna think a better name for it) Sometimes my cards end and I cant use them again. Is it normal or does it happen all the time and I haven't just noticed it?

 

Like it uses a higher numbered card which blocks out oyrs i think that's what you mean. If yes then yeah it happens all of the time​

 

Maybe you're using too many sleights. Each time you use a sleight, the first card in that sleight disappears and can't be reloaded for the rest of the battle. Eg if you have a sleight (Cure-Atk-Atk), once you use it, the Cure card can't be reused for the rest of the battle. Hope that makes sense.

BTW, the fight with Darkside is really long, so you probably shouldn't use sleights to conserve cards.

 

Try to lay of sleights, and use hi-potions etc. I recommend you should also get OmniSlash(Cloud) for attacking the heartless when he puts his hand through the ground. You should also try to break the cards that he uses.

 

kinda what he said bout the slieghts, if u get megalixir u can reload those cards back, but just beat him witout using slieights i did

 

I forgot to mention that some items can bring back the cards used in sleights... *Facepalm*

The weird thing was that I didn't use any sleighs... But I defeated him and now I'm stuck in the 4th. Repliku battle... Any hints on that

 

Yes. I love sonic blade. Use that, have zero cards handy to break dark Aura. Just keep trying, you will do it. (know what you do, don't button mash like in KHII)

 

In other words, don't play like me. Use a lot of zero-cards, jump around, use a couple enemy cards (Oogie Boogie is good if you have low health, the weird ghost Heartless that appears in Hollow Bastion is quite useful, makes it harder for the enemy to brake your cards for a little while...), LEVEL UP!!! Just go in to the first room of each world, and have a separate deck for normal enemies and bosses. And make sure you take out all lightning-cards before the Larxene battle!
