Drakee looked at her "I don't see why anybody would want to kill you but if I had to then yes I would kill you" Drake said "in this world there is no good people." Drake said as he closed his eyes

 

"Enouph." Blade said, making both of the blades that he wasn't holding shoot out at Jane, one hitting the wall infront of her, and the other hitting the wall behind her. "Your begining to bore me. And as much as I wish I could play, I still have other prey..." Blade said. "Women.....they're usually entertaining. And yet already, you have to resort to that skill..." he said, disgust in his voice. The idea of killing such a weak Derma was almost worse then having a boring fight. "Even for a Derma.....you make the humans look weak. So stop now, or else." he said. His fun from the situation was now drained, and if anything, he was extremely dissapointed.


Arrow ran forward at Matt, not hesitating to fling one of his kunai at him, anouther one appearing in its place from beneath his sleeve.

The minute matt saw the kunai comming, he jumped up into the air, and kicked off of the fountain edge. There were 2 people in the direction he jumped towards. His left foot landed on the first ones shoulder, using the poor bystander, and kicked himself off, landing on the second one's shoulder with his right, and kicking off again, darting straight at Arrow from the side.

Anouther giggle escaped from Arrow's lips. He rubbed his left shoulder with his right arm, and from his left sleeve, a weight dropped, with a chain attatched to it. Without a moments hesitation, he flung it at Matt, just barely missing him.

 

Demetrio pulled out a cig "what an interesting fight" he started to smoke while watching the fight unfold "its amazing how i go unnoticed sometimes."

 

Jane just smiled, and pulled on the ribbons. They appeared from thin air and tightened around Blade, even though there were only two it was still powerful, putting a lot of pressure onto Blade, trying to force him to the ground.

Clara thought of the old man that helped her escape the slave camps, "You're wrong, there are many good people in this world, all you have to do is open your eyes to see the goodness in people."

 

"I have already tried that and in the end it all led to betrayal" Drake said opening his eyes and looked at the girl

 

"Then maybe you should try again. I'm sure not everyone will betray you." She said looking up at him with a kind smile.

 

Drake was suprised and this time it was shown face. He had never met anybody so kind to him and he didn't understand why

 

She saw the surprise in his face when he saw her smiling at him, Had no one ever smiled at him before? Clara could tell that he hadn't seen a lot of kindness, and figured that was probably the reason for his aloofness. No one should have to go through life without kindness. Clara looked down at her lunch basket and riffled through it finding one of the softer peices of bread she had bought, she didn't have a lot of money so most of the bread she bought was really stale. She handed the piece to Drake. Looking down at the bread in her basket she realized how hard most of the pieces were, some weren't even edible. She picked one up and tossed it in her hand, lookind at Blade fighting with Jane and Ben. Tossing it one more time in her hand before she chucked it at his head (not realizing that he was a derma and it probably wouldn't hurt him).

 

Drake looked down at the bread. could this be poision? drake thought to himself but then watched her throw the bread

 

Clara watched as the bread hit Blade in the head and bounced off. It was then that she suddenly realized what she had just done, now his attention would be on her instead of Jane (who was still bleeding) and Ben.

 

Drake looked at her "what are you doing?" Drake said

 

Klaire took a deep breath, crossing her arms and looking around thoughtfully as she walked forward down the dark streets. She hadn't much of an idea where she was going, but she figured if she kept walking long enough, she would find out. That's how things normally worked for her. Things were normally thrust upon her, in random situations she wouldn't expect. So why expect anything? She decided that maybe life was better just drifting along through the motions and events. Very rarely did she take initiative. No, that only got her into trouble with herself. She learned at a young age not to trust her emotions. They were unreliable and got her into even more trouble.

She sighed, brushing back some hair and gazing around. So many people... She groaned and picked up her pace. It was getting darker.

 

Blade went to his knees at that moment, but drove his sword into the ground again, keeping his balance. "What the..." he started to say, as he took noticed the ribbons that were sewed into the ground.
He let out a sigh. "You can materialize spiritual energy?" he asked her. His expression was still calm. He didn't appear to be worried at all though. It was almost eerie how calm he was even though it seemed as if he was being helled down to the ground.

 

Jane just cracked a small smile. Leaping up into the air she did a small acrobatic twirl and with full force took the butt end of her scythe and smashed it down on top of Blade.

Clara watched in amazement at the small girl as she attacked Blade. The girl was smaller than she was, yet so much stronger. She seemed inhuman. She looked down at the bread in her bread basket, and a Blade, then back at Jane. Her little attempt to help had done nothing, she wished she had the girls power, and strength so that she could help.

 

Drake crossed his arms and watched the fight as it progressed. He still held the bread "whas that an attempt at helping her?" Drake said to Clara

 

Clara looked down at the bread basket and nodded. She felt like a little girl who had been caught doing something she shouldn't have. Looking back up at Jane, watching her she asked Drake, "What is she? Is she human?" Just assuming that he would know since he seemed to know more about the situation.

 

"she is not a human. She is what they call a Derma. That man she is facing is a Derma also" Drake said

 

"Derma." She repeated, still watching Jane. Then suddenly she looked up at Drake and at his sword. "Are you a derma?" She was a little bit worried about his answer. Jane and Blade seemed to be very powerful, and dangerous. She didn't really know what a derma was, if they were bad or good, and she was certain that if she was to approach either of them then she would be weary being around a being so powerful that they could probably snap her in two if they wanted to. And she didn't want to be weary around this man.

 

"yes that is correct I am a derma" Drake calmly said as he looked at her showing no emotions when he said that

 

Clara gave him a weary look, looked at his swored, looked back at Drake and then took a small step back. Not really all that afraid, just cautious. "What are derma's?" she asked.
