"your a very strange girl" Drake said calmly towards her

 

"You're a very strange man." She said back to him.

 

Drake sighed and looked back at Jane and Blade wondering who was going to screw up

 

From what I understand he does not have a Derma, so I guess he is a citizen? Whatever you see would fit best, I'll go with if I can.

Blade sighed. They had at this stand point for too long, and he was begining to get bored. It was then when he noticed Ben, the girls master. He began to levitate the blade that he had originally used to attack Drake, and aimed it in Ben's direction. "Release your grip, or else your master dies." he said, complimenting it with a yawn, directly in her face.



A man began to approach Matt, a wide grin on his face, still covered by the collar of his shirt. "Mathew?" he asked him, a slight giggle escaping, that he was attempting to hold back.

Matt looked up at the human, annoyed. "Are you the client?" he asked him, a cold expression on his face.

"Why yes, but I'm afraid that you've been lead here under false pretenses. I wanted to hold off a little longer but......I'm just too excited!" He said, anouther giggle escaping. His pupils were dialated, and for a moment, slightly widend, as he struck forward with his arm, slipping his hand out of his sleeve, with what seemed to be a large kunai, dierctly at Matt.

 

Jane instantly dropped her scythe, making it dissapear. The point of this battle for her was to protect her master, she felt she had failed him and you could see it on her face.

Benjamin clenched his fist in anger.

 

Blade stood up straight, no longer having to lean on his sword. He lifted it, pointing it upward at her neck. "Now, will you be a good girl as I have my fun?" he said, as he pressed the blade forward, slightly touching the tip to the spot between her neck and chest, slightly poking the skin and priking with it, his purpose just seeing how far he could push it just to get a bit of blood.

 

Jane stood completley still as the blade slowly pierced her skin and a small drop of blood dripped down her chest.

Ben couldn't take it anymore, he lifted his sword and lunged at Blade, swinging the sword quickly around, comming at him from the side.

 

Drake watched on as they found "not it seems the fighting has continued" Drake said to Clara

 

Clara clasped her hands and watched, trying to think of a way that she could help them. She looked up a Drake then back at the three of them. "What should we do?"

 

"we?" Drake said "Im just going to watch this mayhame unfold. If he attacks me then I shall fight back" Drake calmly said

 

"Why? If you have the power to help someone why don't you?" Clara asked, truely not understanding how someone could not want to help someone.

 

"I'm an assassin. I don't save lives I take them away if paid to" Drake said sticking his sword in the ground

 

Clara looked up at Drake, with a little bit more fear in her eyes. She had never met an assassin and she wasn't sure if she trusted him, though he had been nice to her before.

 

Drake looked down at her and noticed her fear and was a bit surprised. She reminded him of somebody. "I won't harm you. I don't have any reason to hurt you" Drake said

 

"But you would if you were payed?" She asked quietly, almost in a whisper, and she regreted saying it afterwards.

 

Matt grabbed his sword, slashing back at the kunai, sending it flying out of the strangers hand, causing it to land a few feet away from them. "Is there a purpose that you've dragged me out here?" he asked, staring directly into the man's eyes, glaring into them, but seeing nothing there, no sign of sanity nor fear.

"My name is Arrow." Arrow said, backing up slowly, letting his arms hang, as 2 kunai fell into each. "I'm a hunter you see. A Darme hunter." he said, as he began to lose his control over his laughter, starting to chuckle. Everyone around them were now staring at the two. It was like they were in a show. "You see, I'm here to kill you." He said in an eerily delightful tone.


Blade swung his blade, lightly trailing it along Jane's skin, and smashed it against against Ben's sword, pushing against it to try and back Ben right back into the ally wall. In his eyes, it was noticible. They looked ever deader then they had before. Almost as if he were annoyed by the two before him. He had let one of his prety get away thanks to the girl, and this one was just being boring. To him, they were nothing but a buzz kill.

 

Ben tried to push him back but he wasn't strong enough against a derma.

Jane sewed a ribbon into the ground, then jumped and twirled over Blade and sewed another one in the ground on the other side of him.

Ben saw what she was doing and was surprised that she was taking this battle this far, she must really find Blade a difficult enemy.

 

Awake. Strands and wisps of sleep escaped his vision, like balloons in some mad clowns carnival. If there was any person left to tend to the old carnival, it would have to be him. The voice made sure of that. The voice of the book. He didn't know what had happened to the book, but he knew he could still hear that blessed voice, It told and provided for him, and Henry, being obedient, did what he was told. It taught him how to look at life from a new perspective, and suddenly everything was understood when he looked at it that way. Things were... right. Things were good. Things were okay. Yessir.

The voice told Henry to find people, and was that laughter when he said it? The Voice, the voice would not control him. Nosir. They had a relationship, but a small part of him knew there was no voice, all be it praised the fact. Yet, Henry would confront the fact when it came. Deals to be done, and faces to be seen. A gleam shined in his usually black eyes, and the shine wasn't lit by any angel. Something in there was burning, and letting its screaming laughter echo out through Henry's mouth. Nobody stared at him as he made his way through the streets. Those that did, quickly looked away. how did the song go? Like a new born baby, it just happens everyday.
