Drake had his grip still on his sword that he shoved into the tree. He fell down to one knee and looked down at the ground as he panted. He still had a grip on his sword

 

"Been around." Alice answered, just to avoid getting into details. Also because she had been distracted by the word filth, which cause her to scan the group with curiosity. Those he might of thought as filth might of been amusing to watch. Once she finished examining everyone she got a smell of Matt and pretended to sniff it some more. Two more sniffs and she pretended that she was going to get sick, backing away from Matt. "Whoa, Matt, have you showered in the past...month?"

 

"Heyy, cmon. Thats not fair. I've been in prison, chained up, dragged by horses, and even had to ride on one, all against my will. It's not my fault that fate dun like me. Always bein so mean to me and such. It's like I almost did something to tick it off." He said, acting perfectly innocent over the fact that he had only killed god only knows how many people. It wasn't the same annoying innocent that he usually did to annoy Anna though. It was certainly lejit.

 

"Hmmm... Yeah, no reason at all I bet." Alice said sarcastically, knowing her brother all too well. Alice flopped down to the ground after speaking, crossing her legs. "Man... The past few days been exhausting on me too, big brother. Everyone and everything has been mean to me," to gain some sympathy and being as childish as she was, tears started to form in Alice's eyes, threatening to fall at any moment, "and not to mention I'm just plain wiped and haven't been able to sleep..."

 

"I'm sorry to interupt this loving moment but who the hell are you?" Ben asked, almost menacingly at Alice with his sword drawn and pointed at her. Even though Jane seemed to be calm enough around her he didn't trust anyone who just pops out of the woods, especially when they're being tracked.

Jane was there right behind him to back him up, though she didn't think that any fighting would happen between the girl and them, but Matt might oppose to Ben pointing his sword at his little sister. She though about asking him to put it down, and that there was no need for it to be out, but it wasn't her place to tell Benjamin what to do, and he had probably already thought about it and just didn't care.

Clara continued look for Drake and when she found him she gasped and ran to him, "Drake! Are you ok!?" She skidded into a slide and landed next to him on her hands and knees, "What's wrong? What it is? Is it you imperfection?" Worry masked her face as she looked at him.

 

"leave me alone" Drake yelled at her in anger all of a sudden. Even though she didn't do anything it seemed he was angry at her

 

For a moment, there was a glint in Matt's eyes, having to ignore Alice, as his sword appeared in his hand. He quickly sent all of his adrenaline into his arm, making it much stronger, and smashed it into Ben's blade. With the moment presented before him, he rushed right up to Ben, placing his face infront of Ben's, and biting the air infront of Ben's face, almost close enouph to have bitten his nose.
"Filth. Allow me to clarify. I am here because I choose to be. Now, if I damn well choose, I will kill you all, and make this a blood bath if you even for a moment believe that your pathetic worth even DESERVES to be in the presence of my sister. Now, all you need to do is be a good little meat sack and lower your weapon, or else." He said, staring directly into Ben's eyes.
He made certain to keep an eye out for the others around him. He always knew that he could push his luck as far as one Derma. It was how his powers worked. Physical superiority over most, even with Derma's. But exceeding that limit was always dangerous to him. Even he knew that. And even if it was just a derma and two humans, it was at least a tiny bit more then just a single derma.

 

Jane was in between them in a flash, she didn't care about anything other than Benjamin at the moment, even if he had sort of threatened Matt's sister, Matt was over reacting, and he had threatened Ben and that was all she needed. With her scythe out and within the inches of space that seperated their faces, her blank stare was no longer as blank, her silver eyes moved back and forth, the way a normal person would look if they were thinking about something intently, but she was focusing on the two, listening to their breathing and their movements.

Annabel was also up and ready. Captain Benjamin was her idol and her comander so she would go into a full battle for him, if that's what it progressed to.

When Jane interrupted them he looked over at her, with the same glare as he had given to Matt, this was the only thing that he didn't like about having a Derma, she always fought his battles for him, and he couldn't tell her to stop because this is what Derma's do, they fight battles for their master, but for once he would like to take care of himself, it was almost demeaning for him to have such a small girl fight for him, he felt guilty for just standing by and letting her to all of the work. "Jane." He said, it was just her name, but it was also an order to back down.

Clara looked taken aback, she felt she had done something wrong, had she been to annoying for asking so many question, even though he looked like he was in pain, he probably just wanted to be alone and she had interrupted. "I..I'm sorry." She said sheepishly and started to back away.

 

Alice Jumped to her feet without the usage of her hands. "Um... I disapprove fighting, especially over me..." She muttered, not expecting to be listened to. And just in case she looked towards the others, all ready to attack her brother. "But if any of you dare attacking my brother I'll make an exception." It might of been best to ready her powers but she already couldn't make out most of the small detials, losing anymore of her vision wasn't perfered. Not like my help is needed anyway... Still doesn't mean I'll try... "So... Brother, calm down, please?"

 

Drake had his eyes shut tightly as he was on his knee with his hands still gripped on his sword. The moment he heard Clara say that she was sorry he immediately opened his eyes and looked over at her feeling guilty "no your not the one who should apologies. You did nothing wrong" Drake said as he left the sword in the and sat down and slumped against a tree looking at the ground "Sorry for yelling at you" Drake said quietly

 

Matt gave a light grin to Ben, and then quickly went to a blank face, as he slid his blade against Ben's, and threw it into the air, the sword dissapearing into particals.
"Your lucky she's here. I taught her so that way she'll just defend if she needs to. We can take care of this when we're alone." he said to Ben, the grin returning slightly again.
His attention went over to look behind Ben at Anna, raising his eyebrows for a moment at her, signifying that the challenge wasn't only to Ben.
"Now then, as for, who the hell she is, this would be my little sister, Alice. Now, let's get something straight. As long as I CHOOSE to travel with you welps, she shill follow, and not be harmed. And I can assure you, she is just as, if not more, deadly then I am, so I suggest that you don't mess with her. After all, a Derma as dangerous as me obviously isn't something that you want to deal with." he said, the cockiness in his voice being much too noticible.

 

Alice giggled, lowering her guard only a little. "You're the best, Brother." She was flattered with his comment of her strength. But more so glad that he wouldn't fight, for now anyway. She'd have to talk to him about the 'we can take care of us when we're alone' bit later. For now though she just looked to the others, waiting for them to relax.

 

"No..d..don't be sorry. Now we're even, I yelled at you that one time too." Clara said smiling, she was trying to make light of the situation.

Jane then stepped between Ben and Matt, the "take care of this when we're alone" part stuck out to her. "Ben shall never be alone as long as I'm here, and as long as I'm here there shall be nothing to take care of." Her seriousness was distinct.

"Pshh.... dangerous, cocky much?" Anna mumbled. "I don't think you're in a position to start making demands." She said to matt.

 

Drake just continued to stare at the ground "why....why do you hang around me? Your somebody who saves lives. Im somebody who take lives away" Drake said

 

"I guess I'll just have to take care of that, now won't I princess." Matt said, snickering at Jane. He would've continued, but then he heard Anna's comment.
"Oh really now girly? You weren't in a position with that hurt foot of yours yesterday, and your still not. Oh wait, so now, who was it that did that again?" he said, his face becoming more innocent now, just to rub in the burn of defeat.

 

Being completely lost Alice strayed away from the group a bit to find a rock to sit on. She didn't feel comfortable enough to speak again until after Matt had spoken again. "Um... Who are all you anyway? And why are you with them, Brother?"

 

Demetrio walked up "i suppose the same reason i am... boredom to say the least. hmm well either that or he just wants to slaughter a bunch of people and have no repercussions on himself since there are many people here." Demetrio paused for a moment "well the only difference if that is true is i also wish to get stronger."

 

"Whatever. I'll be right back. gonna go take a whiz." he said, as he started walking off towards the forest. "ANd if anyone hurts her, your all dead!" he yelled as he walked off.

 

Alice found herself taking few steps after her brother, not wanting to be left alone with people she didn't know all that well. She folded her hands over her chest and wearily looked around at the group. "Hehe..." She laughed nervously before walking out of the middle of the campsite and sitting on the ground, leaning upon a tree. "I'll just sit here..." She muttered, mostly to herself as she doubted anyone else could hear her.

 

As Drake waited for Clara's answer he used his left hand and tried to reach and grab the heavy gauntlet he wore on his left arm. As he stretched his arm and tried to reach the gauntlet he revealed the long scar on his left arm.
