Cats or Dogs?

I prefer cats because I was raised around cats more than dogs. Plus my kind of lifestyle is more suitable for the feline rather than a kanine.

 

Well, I'm a cat person myself. I think my personlity's fairly similar to felines'. Both have their pros and cons as pets though... dogs require more attention, you have to walk them and bathe them, but in return they're loyal, friendly, and guard your house. Dogs are also easier to interact with than cats; you'll be hard-pressed to get a cat to play fetch with you.
Cats are lower maintenance and do show love in their own way, but are usually a lot more aloof. I've known my share of lap-kitties too, though.

 

I'm both a dog and cat person. I'm a general animal lover, so I don't really prefer something over another. Dogs are fun to play with and to have when bored. They are loyal and make lovely friends. They guard your home and protect you. They can also be of other services if trained for. Just awesome creatures they are.

Cats are also awesome...they are lazy, yes, but they are still very fluffy—can serve as a pillow occasionally—and can be a nice decoration in the house. They also keep the house clean of pests and stuff, so it's good. They're the quiet type of pets that can be left alone most of the time. I've gone through a good amount of cats in my life, and I can still say that I continue to love the sounds of their "meow"s and really don't mind the fact that they scratch and bite. I find that rather cute.

 

Dogs, their faithful, loving and cute, and when your bored they are very helpful in cheering you up!

My experiences with cats aren't fun, not that any have attacked me or anything, it's just they don't like me​

I would prefer dogs. In fact, I don't like cats at all. I don't like them because one scrached me on my cheek when I was 4 and that has haunted me till this day. O_O

Besides, I think dogs are cuter and more affectionate =)

 

I used to love dogs and despise cats
and then I got a pet cat.
I love her.
She's more independent than my old dog.
I know that has to do with that particular cat, not the entire species,
but cats are more of the quiet companion than the begging kind.
So I say CATS!

 

I've only owned dogs my entire life. We never had cats because my mom doesn't like them.

So, I actually prefer dogs more even though they can be annoying when they start barking and never shut up, like my Pitbull. I mainly like them because they can actually protect your home. Unlike cats, they can probably just meow and run away. I don't know.
I actually have four dogs. Three chihuahuas and one Pitbull. The Pitbull makes a pretty good guard dog. He literally sits in front of either my parents' door or the kitchen door and watches the houses that are behind ours.

Adult cats creep me out for some reason. As for kittens, they're cute until they grow up and creep me out. *shrugs* I'm weird.​

 

Haha my mums best friend once had a key to our house for emergency reasons and she came into our house one very rainy day to sneak my little brothers birthday present in to make herself look cool. Anyway because it was very rainy, we kept our dogs in the house and she came in and my newly adult dogs came up and jumped on her and licked her because they were happy to see her. She said she nearly died from lack of breath and they make excellent guard dogs! ​

 

Dogs. Definetly dogs. There's something about cats... I hate cats, I have no idea why 0_0

 

DOGS! I haven't a clue why, but cats hate me... I was petting one once, and the cat impaled my finger with it's claw! I swear I could hear One Winged Angel playing in the background... XD

As for me, I can't say I'm really a cat or dog person. Truthfully, like that now long name with that weird "o" that I can't write unless I copy and paste =P, both are my favorites. They're good for different things, and I want both a puppy and a kitty soon. Dogs resemble taking care of a child and you have to be responsible. Walk it once or twice a day, brush its teeth, feed it, bathe it, and clean up after them. Cats are more easier to handle. Just lay food, water, a sandbox, and it does what it needs to do around the house, sleep while it gives you tons of affection if you treat it well. All you really have to do is give it the shots, unless you like to bathe them. The two species can be playful too. Cats hunt down whatever is moving, so personally, you have your personal killer on the loose. Woe behold a bug or some creature.

So, really, it's whatever I can get my hands on. I don't mind which one as long as they are adorable and fluffy, and huggable and...-

Cats because all the dogs hate me. Its like-
"Oh my dogs so friendly he won't even bark at anyone," *I walk in* *dog starts barking like crazy*

I feel like I am a cat sometimes when that happens.
I've never actually owned a cat before, because I'm the only one in my family who isn't allergic. I'm pretty sure I'm adopted with all the things I'm not like in my family.
I know that after I leave my parent's house I will always own a black cat, black cats ftw.
And also whenever I'm walking cat's follow me.

 

Dogs all the way. I would not trust a cat to guard my house at night, or scare someone trying to break in away (has almost happened a few times at my old house)

And cats hate me.

And they wag tails, lick hands, and try to jump on you.

 

Dogs.
They're much more playful, loyal, affectionate and generally kind creatuers. I always find cats to be very vicious, and they bring dead mice into your house xD

I've always had cats, and you hear stories on the news about little kids being mauled by dogs, but nothing like that about cats.

I like both, but I prefer dogs. They have a much more playful personality and are a lot of fun. Cats are more lazy and 'I don't give a damn'.

 

I prefer dog's but if i could id get both >:D them teachthem to wake me up in the morning :P
