Oh, it gets better. There's a show on E! called 'The Soup' that makes fun of the worst shows on television. 'Brainrush' made on their Sunday program. It was a bitter-sweet laugh.

I don't remember, exactly. They made fun of it, comparing it to something bad, calling it names, showed a clip of some kid being asked while saying 'Oh God' repeatedly during several loop-de-loops, ended the clip, made another joke about it, and moved on to the next show. It show up again sometime this week. Look on YouTube, maybe it's there.

Yeah some of these new shows are just...strange. I remember when I was younger when they actually had some of the better shows on. The new Cartoon Network "real" made just for reality shows just looks dumb. I mean not to mention The Mighty B! show that they have on Nick along with "Penguins of Madagascar" & "Barnyard", ugh they just annoy me and I wish they would take those off.

Actually, I'm kind of fond of the Penguins; I'm no fan of Madagascar, but let's face it, after Avatar left, that's about as good they can do for right now. But, I must say, I like Rico...

Same, but I at least had the decency of only cussing in front of equally gutter mouthed friends...

I hate how they stopped airing all the shows even the teenaged viewers enjoyed (Justice League, Batman, Samurai Jack, Teen Titans etc.) and changed them in to shows revolving around immature jokes like 'Oh lulz, I just said s-e-x, I'm so cool, kheheehee'. It's getting kinda sick how the quality of the shows has gone waaaayyy down.

We are having this tlak in Spam Zone too. Here's what I said.

Cartoon Network died out a long time ago in my opinion. Nothing like Scooby Doo Where Are You?, Jetsons, Looney Toons, Tom & Jerry and the Flintstones. I also liked 2 Stupid Dogs, Courage, and Cow and Chicken. It always got me.

There was also Rocko's Modern Life, Rugrats, Bonkers, Hey Arnold, Angry Beaver's, Rocket Power and Cat Dog. I think those are all the shows I liked as a kid.

You just listed like all of my favorite shows when I was a kid, except add in Are you afraid of the Dark? for Nick and Ed Edd n' Eddy & the PPGs for Cartoon Network.

I only watch Nick & Cartoon Network when there's absolutely nothing on, and I usually try to avoid doing so even then. But do they serious show a penis and say the word sex on there now? ...That's just wrong. Why can't kids have a childhood anymore.

Lastly, I would like to say that the show Chowder on Cartoon Network kinda makes me wanna just go die in a corner. It's that bad.

I couldn't care less about the quality of TV. I just buy the stuff I like on DVD (and the stuff I like wasn't originally made for TV anyway), and just be satisfied with that. Really, it's been about 2-3 years since I've watched actual TV.

They figured that they could just cut out all the creative effort and use dumb jokes and the kids won't even notice the difference. Saves them effort and still gets them money.

I really can't stand that new Batman for some reason, but I do like Spectacular Spider-Man, it's almost as good as the 1990s series. I've been meaning to check out Iron Man, but haven't had a chance yet. And isn't Spectacular Spider-man on Disney? I don't think I've seen it on Cartoon Network...though I've been staying clear away from that channel

Cartoons these days are horrible. Bad humor and too many fart jokes.

It was good growing up in the 90s.
There are so many shows I just can't forget.

Freakazoid, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Tiny Toons, Gargoyles, Doug, Mighty Ducks, Reboot....Just to name a few. >_>

I'm wondering that too. I remember seeing Dexter's butt in Dexter's Lab, but no penises >>;.

Cartoon Network sort of HATES ANIME these days so they took Toonami off after replacing almost everything with Western shows.

Also I had no idea s-CRY-ed was still airing on Adult Swim, is it seriously still there?
