I've recently been looking around for a good gaming capture card.
Which one would you guys recommend if any?

It depends on what you're looking for. Capturing in HD will dramatically drive up your price point. If you're just looking for component or composite capture, try the Dazzle DVC (composite only) or the Hauppauge HD PVR (component). I have an Elgato Game Capture HD which I really like, it captures full 1080p off my PS3. It was a bit pricey (think I paid around $170 when it was all said and done), but they're running a promotion for $20 off when you buy (online) at Gamestop ( here, $159.99 ). Amazon is probably the cheapest at $148 though. It has built in twitch.tv & youtube integration (as well as a whole host of other social media options, like auto-upload to youtube & post to twitter), in depth controls, a stylish design & simple set-up, etc. Really great little device.

I researched this a lot before buying so if you have any questions feel free to ask~

I was actually looking between that one and the Hauppauge HD PVR 2. I'll probably do a tad more research before I spend that kind of money.
    Thanks for the input!
I remember that card, always got tails. >_>

I was torn between the two also! I don't recall what exactly pushed me towards the Elgato but it's really, really easy to use. They also sponsor YouTubers to make tutorial videos, so help is never far away.

Been wanting to expand my channel with other things because 6 years of the same content can get kind of stale. XD
I'll probably still look around a tad more before spending any money, again thanks for the info!

Of course! It's a huge purchase to make, ha. If you need any help (either with deciding or once you've got it), feel free to ask~
