    Tesseract = Cosmic Cube.

    Cast

    • Steve Rogers/Captain America - Chris Evans
    • Johann Schmidt/Red Skull - Hugo Weaving
    • Bucky Barnes - Sebastian Stan
    • Nick Fury - Samuel L. Jackson
    • Howard Stark (Tony Stark's father) - Dominic Cooper
    • Dum Dum Dugan - Neal McDonough
    • Dr. Abraham Erskine - Stanley Tucci
    • More cast available on the page.
    And finally, the picture of Captain America's uniform

    I didn't like the costume at first, it seemed too baggy. But it grew on me. It really emphasizes the "soldier" quality of super-soldier. I'm glad they included the gun holster, too. I want to say that this might be the current time (after Captain America awakes from being frozen) because of the tech behind him and the fact that he didn't start out with his round shield when he became Captain America, but that's my own speculation.

    I'm gonna watch this movie since I like them Avengers and what not. I still can't tell if the movie is gonna be like half in the past and then the rest is in the present when he's thawed out of the ice, or if that will be the end of the movie as a setup for the start of the Avengers.
    Either way, I like the costume, it's like the mid-point between the soldier and super hero thing.
    Hopefully the movie won't be too intense with the whole "America won the war single handedly, mostly because we had a guy who threw a Frisbee-shield which is actually Guile in disguise and the shield is just a way of hiding Sonic Booms so his cover isn't blown".

    I'm waiting for Thor a bit more, since it seems like they might try to explain how magic fits in with the other heroes in the series of movies because from the Avengers cast list it seems like everyone else was made with science.

    Chris Evans going around punching Nazis? SIGN ME UP!

    Seriously, I'm excited as hell for this. A little worried about Casting Cap as Evans, but after seeing him do Lucas Lee, My confidence was heavily renewed. Also, That costume negates the other half of my worries. Captain America's suit simply wasn't functional as a soldier, and really not dignifying... in the slightest... at all. That costume brings together the grittiness of a soldiers battle uniform and the bright, heroic colouring that makes you remember he's a Superhero... Could've done withour the pouch-belt, and a tad less padding to make Cap look more muscley (although I can see that being unrealistic), but I like the look, I like the actors... I don't know a lot about the plot of Captain America, but it seems basic superhero fare, so if they can make it interesting, then I'll enjoy it.

    I mean lets face it, Chris Evans can't do a worse job than Reb Brown.

    Been waiting years for this 8D

    His clothing does look odd to me. I don't really like it much, but oh well, it'll probably grow on me ;-;

    Okay, I am so STOKED for this movie. I LOVE Captain America, and to be honest, Chris Evans playing him makes me want to see the movie even more, and holy crap he looks freakin' swoll! I really can't wait.

    The actors look great, the costumes look great, and I really want his shield ._.

    This could be a good movie, but I wouldn't be surprised if it flopped.

    Like Green Lantern.

    They spent soooo much money on the advertising and franchise that the movie itself sucked beyond belief.

    Then again, that's DC.

    I just saw it last night.

    Bucky's death was sad and at the end, their coversation before he crashed was amazingly sweet. ;~;

    The trailer for the avengers after the credits was great (May 4th is a day I can't wait for) and Tony Stark is still my number one Avenger. X)

    I do really want to see this, I've never really followed the original comic books and Captain America never really jumped out to me. However, the trailer enticed me and I have some friends who are dying to watch it so I said I'd go with them. The action looks very good and overall it looks very well made, plus I am liking his clothing on the first post- it's not his original but it still looks quite cool.

    Can someone give a review? Is it worth seeing if I was never into the comics?

    I've never read any of the Marvel comics, but all of their movies have had an appeal to me. His new outfit is just badass like in the film, but the original outfit makes a hilarious cameo... X)

    It's worth seeing either way, but especially if you're gonna watch the Avengers next May. Overall, it was just a good movie. Slow motion is overused, but the action and acting redeem it.

    I plan on seeing this someday, but I'm waiting for Tuesday to see Harry Potter since I only have enough money left to see 1 more movie, and Harry Potter is on my list.

    But the movie looks really good, and I'm not even much of a Captain America fan. I like some Marvel stuff like Spiderman, Daredevil, and things like that, but Captain America has never really stood out to me. This movie better change my mind

    What I wanna know is...
    not that they will, but say if they ever had a crossover between the Fantastic Four and Captain America (sorta like the game Marvel Ultimate Alliance)
    I mean... Chris Evans plays both Human Torch and Captain America. How would they work that out? XD
    A familiar looking coincidence perhaps? :P
