Okay after about a week more of work I think I got a bit more better at it. It's just that I don't know if it's good enough. Here's the link. http://player49.deviantart.com/art/Cap-Ywllow-Orb-Attempt-2-98900524 -_-;;; Took me a long time to finish the differences here after trying to erase large portions of pencil shading.
The only difference I saw at first was that you shaded the hell out of it this time, unnecessarily, might I add. It's best to start simple and work on details like shadows and wrinkles in clothes later. Working on too many things at once, or working on more advanced steps can make your work suffer. To make an analogy, you spent all your time on the icing and forgot about the cake. So although I acknowledge your attempts at shading are decent, I will not say it makes it look any better, because the base that you're working off of is wrong. I mean to say the overall composition of the body isn't good. I'll admit you did reduce the short stumpy look a little, but you overall kept the same mistakes from the first one. The arms are still misshapen and the legs disproportionately short etc.. I'm not sure if you wanted these things to look this way specifically, but is not pretty or pleasing in any way to look at. I suggest you just redo the whole thing if you want to change it, that or just leave it behind and practice something new.
Yea I thought so too on the shading but I couldn't make it good enough. My pencil is like hell when I try to use it. But I did make the legs longer and the arms I'm still learning. The hat logo I'm still in learning and the shading I'll take care of once we buy this eraser that lightens pencil drawings. Then I'll fix the face and the wrinkles on teh pants that are too high. I just realized that the weight of teh pants aren't heavy so wrinkles don't exist above the kneecap. Also I'll take care of teh right leg that is nearly blurred out. Must've been the scanner.
They're still not right. Proportions should be closer to human's. Legs are always supposed to be longer than arms and yours aren't. The arms have the joints and muscles in the wrong places so they look lumpy and misshapen.
Well, I'm really not too knowledgeable of this subject so specifics aren't my thing. If I had to say you're moving in the right direction, it's just you need to continue improving and depending on how well this next step works out for you it could be another step in the right direction, or a mistake. Either way, it's not my art, nor is it my decision.
Just a little bit better. All I saw different was the title and the head was a little disfigured. Try tracing the body on another piece of paper and sketch out the head again, erase if you are not satisfied with it.
I understand. Thank you. Thank you. I will try that once I find a light table. XPPPP Which is a big problem since I drew this pic on a piece of binder paper.
