    My Gawd! That is the worst quality memory card evur! I should know. I had to return 3 of them because they had the same problem. Get a PS2 branded memory card. That will cost more, but at leat it will work.

    the same problem happened to me! u can buy memory cards for cheap! go on eBay! (lol) that memory card u hav wont save skittlez!! xD

    that memory card, single handedly destroyed my conquest of FFX and KH. This is why I slurged and bought a good memory card that is an actual SONY model and not a knock up.

    get a SONY memory card. it's great. one time i left it in my pocket and put that pants in the laundry and dryer and when i realized what happened. i checked everything out, and NOTHING WAS WRONG :D

    You should probably get a new memory card, my friend had thesame problem and since he bought a new memory card, he's had no trouble with it at all.

    I suggest that you return it and get a normal PS2 memory card. It works for my PS2. You can get them at BestBusy, HMV or EBGames. ( From what I've seen in the stores I walk in once)

    Walmart or gamestop sells it for 25 dollars in gamestop and walmart is only 19.99. i'm just saving 1 dollar :)

    that's exactly what you should look for. If it's got the sony brand name then it is guaranteed compatible. Third parties are cheep but if you're not careful you might buy an expensive piece of plastic.
