Can you whistle?

The funny thing is, I can sing but I cannot whistle.

Come to think of it, I can't snap my fingers either. My inability to whistle bothers me more, however.

I couldn't whistle at all when I was younger but recently I've come to university and suddenly found that I'm able to whistle without any difficulty. I don't know what changed to mean I suddenly could.

I really don't understand how people can't snap their fingers like... ARE THEY WET NONSTOP? Nvm don't answer that

 

Can't whistle to save my life, but snapping my fingers has never been a problem.

I can't whistle, I can only snap, but it's pretty loud. My dad can snap thrice using different fingers.

 

I can whistle, snap my fingers, roll my tongue, make farting sounds by squeezing my palms together, make farting sounds with my armpits... clearly amazing except not really

 

Yup, took me a while though. I spent months trying every now and then, to no avail. I ended up randomly spotting the right position and I spent half an hour playing with it to memorize it. Once the sweet spot is found it' s just like riding a bicycle, you can' t unlearn it.

What puzzles me is that I can' t reach high pitched notes, for instance the highest note of the X-Files theme eludes me. Haven' t figured out how to whistle loudly by sticking fingers in my mouth either, but I don' t miss it.

I can snap my fingers in theory, but in practice I almost never do it. And I can roll my tongue but it' s genetic, no training involved there.

 

I actually learned how to whistle by breathing in instead of out while growing up. I can do it while blowing now, but it's kind of funny.
And on the subject, I can snap my fingers too, using my index to my pinky finger

I don' t think you can unlearn that either so that works too. ^^

Forgot to mention that nowadays I' m training to roll Rs while I' m whistling so that I sound like a bird.
