Can Someone Think of an Anime with a Story as Deep as Fullmetal?

I've finished the series and now I kinda want to watch another good anime. Any suggestions?

Bleach!!! But it's up to you to decide! There is a lot of good anime Bleach is just my favorite!!

 

I suggest .hack, it is very deep (even confusing almost at times) and there is plenty of it. 3 animes, 8 games, and even more magna, .hack is one of my abosolute top animes.

well i like the one called D~N~Angel i liked that........the book series is good 2 but the show is cool..........and all the anime everybody else said they r all great ^-^

If you love FMA you will love elfen lied, it has the sort of homunculi thing only with things called diclonious.
It's really good and I would recomend it!
