    Just wondering, this has never happened to me, btw but,

    If a thread that you've posted in has moved to the spamzone, does your post count drop? because posts don't count in the spamzone so how does that work?

    Well, I'm not sure how it works, but your post count does drop.

    When sections are created, there's an option to allow posts in that section to either count or not count towards your total recorded post count. If a thread is moved from a section that does count to a section where it doesn't, the system knows to deduct your particular number of posts in that thread because posts set in that section are not to be recorded on your recorded post count. Same thing the other way around... if a thread in a section where posts do not count is moved to a section where they do count, the system knows to add the posts you've made in that thread to your recorded post count.

    So long story short... if your post count suddenly increases or decreases, it's because threads got moved around.

    The staff also sometimes go through the accounts of people who have been spamming to a stupidly high level.

    Either way if your post count changes for no apparent reason then the staff should be able to give you an explanation as to why.

    xD; I still remember when we made the new RP sections, we didnt check for the posts not to count, >_> and then we moved all the threads x_x;

    That was an intersting night...
