It's the 2012 version of Twilight, pretty much.
Except I think it's less vampires and more sex? Idk.

It was actually a Twilight fanfic and the names just got switched around so it could be published.
    Thats what I heard anyways.

That makes a lot of sense, and it lines up with the official story. I think they said it was "inspired by" Twilight or some-such.

I've been tempted to read it to see if it's as bad as everyone says.

Not that I would know, I don't read many books. I wish I did, though. I just have no idea where to start and just feel overwhelmed.

The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.

    That's a good start.

You start on the first page, silly boy.

Really though, I recommend any Star Wars book.

    ...what?

Yes! I especially recommend Aaron Allston's half of the X-wing series.

EDIT: Well played advertisement, well played.

So this is now a book recommendation thread. Excellent.

Don't the advertisements scan your history or somesuch for key words? Not that surprising really, though it's annoyingly fast.

I was at my library volunteering the other day, and almost every book I was shelving was any of the 3 books in the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy. There was this chick next to me who looked like she was in college so I asked her what it was about.

She looked over to me and I swear she could not sound any more honest when she said, "It's a sex book."

Later that day, I heard some elderly folk talking about the book. I thought, they must be reminiscing about the good old days.
