Still have hopes for the localized Japanese browser game? So does Square Enix. After some words with Siliconera, it seems that they are still shopping around to get Kingdom Hearts chi out to the English speaking public.

Do you have hopes for the localization? How appealing does the game look to you?

I wouldn't be surprised if they released it on the 3DS or as a downloadable on PSN/Xbox Store. If Square is trying to do yearly KH releases along with FF, it's possible we could see a port of Dream Drop Distance to PS4/XBO and Chi going to one of the above venues. I'd probably bank on them both going to PS4 if they do ever get re-released, since the touchpad should work well with the Dream Eaters/Reality Shifts, and Chi could utilize the multiplayer features (if there are any in the browser version, I don't know, lol)

But I'd very much like a localized version of Chi since apparently it's going to be relevant despite Nomura promising it was 'no biggie' v:

All that I've read about chi is that it has a LOT of backstory. I wanna play it.

Even if it isn't THAT important to the story, from what I've seen of it, X[chi] looks like solid fun, and I would really like to try it out if it ever does get localized.

I played a little bit of this when it was first released, but i was a bit limited by the fact i couldn't read any of the text. I still had a lot of fun playing it, so if it was localized i'd imagine it'd be quite a bit better. I'd love to see this happen.

Not a lot of it is canon due to the stories in the disney worlds, but as far as keyblader lore goes, there's a lot to be discovered with the tome of prophecy, and whatnot.

I really like the look of it, actually. Been quietly crossing my fingers hoping it would make the boat ride over. They should do an interest poll or something like that...

It's a nice way to pass time, choose a union at the beginning, and compete in groups to accumulate high points for better prizes. It's like competitive when it comes to racking up points, but co-operative when it comes to raid bosses.

Honestly, I've been waiting for the english version ever since it came out. It looked really cool, and I've always wanted to play it.

I'm very interested in playing X, assuming Square-Enix localizes it. I've seen a lot of it on tumblr and have been wanting to play it as well, but the language barrier's been keeping me arm's length away. It looks like so much fun and I really want to get into it for the lore, but alas, no localization means no playing for now. I really hope they find a publisher for an English version.

I seriously hope it gets localized. I tried a bit of it a while back and I enjoyed it quite a bit, but the language barrier prevented me from really taking advantage of the features that were available. I dig the look of the game and how it plays (assuming I was actually playing it correctly), and I really would like to experience the story by playing the game myself in a language I can understand.

      Make it happen, Squeenix...please.

Considering that it's not canon to the overall KH story, I say leave it Japan only. It doesn't really offer anything.
