Kingdom Hearts II Can Kairi manipulate memories too if she wanted?

Hmm, well, also Kairi can't summon a keyblade. In KH 2 Riku gave that to her.

I think Kiari might have that ability but it wouldn't just work on anyone.I think that she could do it to people connected to her.

I think so, Naminé didnt he get her powers from something else then Kairi..
Or maybe its because Sora got mixed up with her when her nobody was created..
And that makes Sora the source of that power...

 

Namine is part Sora, Part Kairi, am I right?

So she must have the power to manipulate his mind because not only does he have the power, but he's connected to her in a way.​

This could be a possibility in the future, yes. But since Kairi doesn't even know how to control what power she has, we don't know what she can do. The most we've seen her do is change Sora back, bring him and Riku home, and wield a Keyblade that was randomly given to her.

I'm not even sure what the powers of the Princesses are other than being the key to Kingdom Hearts. I'm not even sure how Kairi's a princess since she was a special girl that Xehanort picked for his...I guess, experiment. Maybe if we learn more about her background, we'll learn how she became a Princess of Heart and what abilities are available to her.

I guess we're going to have to depend on Nomura to unscramble the mess. Hopefully Kairi and her past will be explained more in depth in the next installment.

I wouldn't say it's out of the question, but I doubt she has it due to Namine. If she does have it, it will be a newfangled power that is conveniently not mentioned until KH3.

But nah. I think the memory saga is over. Whose memory would Kairi manipulate anyway? I am sure Masked Mega man would find a use, but in day to day Enix life, it would be pointless.

 

The people haven't the same powers of their Nobodies. Roxas wields 2 Keyblades and Sora only 1 (he wields 2 Key only when he got his clothes in KH2). Maybe Kairi can't control people's memories, but maybe the feelings.

 

That's a good theory. It could lead to something big in one of the future games.
But I can see how you may be right. How else would Namine be able to manipulate memories if the other half of her can't? Who knows though. Namine might be more special than we think.​

no...the only reason namine could manipulate the memories of sora is because she was born from him as well as kairi, so anyone that has a connection to him will be able to be manipulated, kairi wasnt born from sora (i hope) so she can't.

 

I've thought of this a million times, but I never really thought anything of it. I think the fact that she knew and remembered that Sora still existed while his memories were being tampered with went pretty unnoticed. Noone remembered that he existed except Kairi, she didn't know his name, but she still knew he was there. I always thought that was special, because noone else remembered him. I did think it was because she was a princess of heart... and that she could possibly manipulate memories... Maybe she does it unintentionally, and she doesn't know she has the ability?
I'm sure that it would be a part of something in their later games :]

 

I don't think that Kairi has this ability. Don't get me wrong, I do think that she may have some other powers since she is a princess of heart, but I don't think she can manipulate memories. And if she could, how would she find out that she could?

 

Maybe Kairi does have that ability, she just doesn't know of it yet.
We'll see in future games.

 

That is a good theory,but I'm not sure.Roxas can weild the keyblade because Sora can right,Namine can mess with your memories,maybe Kairi can do it.But she 100/10 doesn't know it.She doesn't even know that Namine can.

 

It's possible. I always thought that Namine could only control Sora's memories because of two factors: 1) she had a special birth, and 2) that special birth connected her to both Sora and Kairi (the heart was Kairi's, but inside Sora's body). Since I think that Xion may be Kairi's nobody, and she wields a keyblade just like Kairi...perhaps that's her power? If Riku ever became a Heartless and got a Nobody, that Nobody would likely wield a keyblade as well.

 

Hmmm I highly doubt it but it could just be a power that's locked away inside her. But again, I doubt it.
