Kingdom Hearts II Can Kairi manipulate memories too if she wanted?

I've always wondered this...but Namine has this ability. Most nobodies take on the abilities their somebody had, right? Like Sora, Roxas can weild the keyblade, and he uses Light as his main weapon.

1. Will kairi's ability be important later?
2. Does she have this ability because shes a princess of heart?
3. Is she does, do all princesses of heart have the ability to manipulate memories?

 

I never thought of this...maybe this will play a bigger part in one of their later games? Good theory.

That's a good question and since a lot of Kairi's abilities only seem to manifest themselves through subliminal sorts of things like bringing Sora's body back from the Shadow Heartless state he was in and also doing the bottle thing which eventually let Sora and Riku get home, there isn't much we know about her. It could be true that she could alter memories as Namine did. It is a curious thing why Kairi does not recall her past that happened before Xehanort shipped her off to go find the Keyblade wielder when she was 4. It may have a reason such as she sealed her own memories. There's no way to answer for sure though, but it is a possible theory.

 

Yeah but where could her abilities have come from...?

 

If she did have that ability, I would say from general Princess of heartness.

 

Where does Sora's power come from? Where does Riku's power come from? Where does Mickey's power come from? Where does DiZ power come from? Where does Beast power come from? Where does Malificent's power come from?

There are many extraordinary powerful characters in the game, and yet no one ask for an explaination of how they got thier powers. Kairi is rather weak compared to the rest of the cast, even if she can manipulate memories...

I don't know why you would ask... why not just assume her heart?

Namine's ability was SoOOoO important in CoM, why wasnt it mentioned or seen at all in kh2...with either namine or kairi?

yeah...thats true...lol. I should have known having a strong heart means you can do anything in the kh universe.

 

It was.... she said it several times to Roxas.

 

Isn't just a natural ability as a nobodie? Like... he's element is "Memories" or something... (I dosen't sound that crazy if you remember that "Nothingness", an "Time" and "Illusion" are elements O_o)
Because high rank nobodies are born whit en element already. And the weapon she use to manipulate memories is that sketch book...(c'mon... Zexion use a book and Luxord cards... gimme a break)

Just an idea...

I don't think Kairi can actually do the things Naminé does but maybe the connection would be Kairi's Radiant Garden lost memories... IMHO.

I really, really doubt it. If you think about it...

Kairi can weild the Keyblade, right? But Namine can't. Namine can manipulate the memories of Sora and those around him, and it's really unlikely Kairi can too.
Namine can manipulate memories of Sora and people connected to him because she was created from him. Plus, it's just her ability. And it's not really known to be true that Somebodies always have the same powers their Nobodies do. (Like Axel's Somebody could use the power of fire? That's kind of strange for a human..)

I'm not saying it's impossible, just that I doubt it.

 

Maybe Naminé can wield the Keyblade,she just can't summon it like Kairi.
And i agree,Naminé can only manipulate Sora memories because she was made through his Body.

I think Namine was originally a stand-alone. But they(stupidly) decided to make her Kairi's nobody.

So, yes. Kairi might have these abilities.

 

No, because in CoM she said lot's of stuff like"I'm her shadow" refering(Sp?) to Kairi.

I think that Kairi might have those powers, however, just as Namine can't summon the Keyblade, Kairi can't tap into those powers yet.​
