    "Giant logs? Next to giant trees? You've got to be kidding me." He sarcastically said thinking that it was funny that they were talking about tree size.

    Alaric laughed. "Giant pinecones are deadly." He joked. "Well...it can be possible." He said tossing a nearby rock into the lake only letting it skip twice before forcing it down the water.

    Aria watched the rock sink. "I've never skipped one before." She said. "One time, my brother tried to teach me, but...It didn't work." She smiled sheepishly. "I just kept tossing them in. That was before he left..."

    "Come on. Afraid of being in the dark with me?" He looked over at the silent forest. "It's not the dark that creeps me out...it's the silence. How about I go in first and you follow?" He suggested already starting to walk towards the forest.
