Wow. No one here has added the classic comic Calvin and Hobbes, this saddens me. They were classic, especially whenever Calvin would imagine his school being consumed by aliens, or trying to cheat off of Susie, or the classic Snowman horror gallery. Anyone else share in the fanhood that is Calvin and Hobbes?
I read it sometimes. Mostly when I was younger, like around 7 or so. I like it though. I think its pretty funny.
DUDE! I LOVE CALVIN AND HOBBES. The comics are so hilarious. I have every volume and that's like the only thing I read consistantly. My favorites were the time he locked his babysitter out of the house, the time he became stupendous man at school, the "good-side" clone Calvin makes, and the ones about the killer snowmen. Those were the best!
Gosh, I love Calvin and Hobbes so got dang much! I have a few books, but I can't exactly remember all we happen to have. I know he have Homicidal Jungle Cat and Revenge of the Baby Sat and that's all I can think of
I made a comic book of them once. Never got around to finishing it, though. :xp: It was a classic series. I just loved his Stupendous Man, Spaceman Spiff and Tracer Bullet personas. And who could forget those stolen photo manipulations of Calvin relieving himself? Watterson should've tried at least done some merchandise on the series. Who knows, maybe it'll be like Opus and he'll return after 15-20 years...or not.
I love calvin and hobbes. We have a few of the volumes aroung my house and every few months i'll just sit down and read all of them in a day. Haha a few years ago me and some of my friends would play Calvinball on a regular basis.
i love reading Calvin and Hobbes! I wanna play Calvinball too, it looks like fun. We only have two books at school =C
What do you mean, equipment? All you need is a kickball, and then anything you find becomes "equipment"
You don't need to play it with masks, but if you want to, just find some plastic masks at a dollar store or something.
Masks aren't necessary, though we used them. I think we played with like a kickball, two baseballs, three hackey sacks, hockey sticks, like 13 bases, and many other odd things.
Mostly, you just use anything that you can use to improvise and then use them in the game for some sort of a way. Example: You find water balloons. You should think of a rule or a term with it and then use it against you or your enemies.
Calvin and Hobbes is the best comic ever xD. I love it when Calvin thinks there are monsters under his bed xD, or when Hobbes attacks him when he comes home from school XD.
