Kingdom Hearts II by strength?

What if Org. 13's members were ranked by strength, rather than the time they joined?

I kind of think it would be like this:

1. Xemnas: Took on Sora and Riku 3 times and managed to cripple riku and wear down sora...besides other factors...
2. Marluxia: Sure, hes a newbie, but the fact that he gave Sora/Axel a run for their money is pretty impressive. Hes really really fast too.
3. Saix: psychotic people are scary. He was also xemnas' right hand man.
4. Xigbar: Pretty fast, pretty strong. He also uses guns, so he has the advantage with his long range...
5. Roxas: Hes pretty tough. He can get his memories erased completely, and still manage to kick ass. Besides that, his cloaked form is like...O.O
6.Axel: Hes been around for a while, ill give him that, but he couldnt beat anyone at full power above him...saix, not sure of, but hes always running from him.
7.Xaldin: Easy to spot weakness. But other than that strong and fast too. He never gives you a break in his combos...
8.Lexaeus: As hard as a rock. As harsh as a rock. As dumb as a rock...
9.Larxene: Fast...but not really strength behind the punches. If she was as strong as she was fast she could beat marluxia...
10.Demyx: punk rocker.
11.Zexion: Smoke and Mirrors (or pages and darkness) dont cut it sometimes...
12.Vexen: He cowers behind a sheild and lets his experiments do the fighting...not cool...
13.Luxord: He uses...cards...he was so weak, sora had to play by luxord's rules...and he still lost!

Hmm..very interesting choices. I can see why you did go with those. Here's my list, just to toss it in the fray.

1. Xemnas: He's the leader for a reason. He could not only use his own vast array of powers but also mimic the other Org member's powers as well. It is clear by what Ansem also said that Xehanort was at times showing signs of being 'super human' and this no doubt transferred to Xemnas.

2. Roxas: Roxas was said by Nomura to be the second most powerful and the reason is probably because of his Element affinity with Light and the fact he's a Keyblade bearer. Do I think other Org members could have beaten him? Yes, but at the same time it would merely be because they were more experienced and could be devious.

3. Xaldin: Despite the fact he was easy to elbow and get away from, his winds are formidable, the dragon out of the spears was just ruxin and the spear attacks themselves were very powerful.

4. Xigbar: It seems clear to me that Xigbar was playing around with Sora. He had the Element of Gravity/Space at his disposal and could have done more than he did. Also, he is the one that brought many new initiates into the Org, obviously having to overpower some to do so. He's also scarred up from something which shows he has been in some very harsh battles but yet is still kicking and fast. I think the only reason I don't rank hiim as #3 is because he uses guns but no close melee range weapons, which kind of hurts him. He is though just deadly.

5. Luxord: Luxord is another like Xigbar who wanted to play a competitive game rather than really go all out. Time is a darn powerful Element that clearly Luxord was not using at the moment. Had he employed it more, that battle would have been a lot uglier.

6. Lexaeus: Despite popular opinion, just because Lexaeus was big did not make him dumb as a rock. He was very smart and seemed to try to hold the Org together at points such as where he ordered Vexen and Zexion to cease their fight. He also was tough to beat and one of Riku's hardest opponents in CoM.

7. Saix: Saix was a berserker empowered by good ol' Luna. He was very strong and also followed Xemnas like a good puppy. He was also super conniving to the point some people think the guy was a 'good guy'.

8. Marluxia: A toss up between Axel or Marluxia goes and I only placed Marluxia here because of the advantage of the Castle Oblivion he had. Otherwise I'd say they were both pretty darn equal and it would have been nice to see a finish to that fight. Everyone loves a little Mortal Kombat. I felt so jipped.

9.Axel: Axel had power but the only time he really went to fight to kill direct was Marluxia, who he was against and Marluxia ran off with Namine. So he gets this spot since no one else dared to oppose Marluxia who remained.

10. Larxene: Larxene was pretty tough though her hits were weak. However, she could hit you a ton of times and fighting in the KH2:FM ...she's just really bad ass.

11.Demyx: Demyx was pretty strong for a guy that was a coward and liked to run off. He doesn't really fight as much as use water for power based off of the sounds he generates with his sitar so I put him as weaker than others because without his Sitar, I ponder if he might be rather boned.

12. Vexen: Vexen could fight though it was obviously not his strength. He wasn't bad, but compared to other members of the Org, he was just not on par with them. Too many experiments; not enough time in the gym.

13. Zexion: Zexion I rank as last, despite the fact that if he actually pulled off his illusions and shape shifting or whatever tricks, he could probably kill off Org members much higher than him. Zexion's power seems to rely mostly on his keen intellect and well...scheming. Caught off guard, Zexion is rather helpless and probably the worst combatant. If he's able to strategically set up, however, he'd mess up nearly anyone's world.

True he shouldn't be on the list but he did make the player fighting him have to use a little strategy (CoM). I assume most people just ram up to the enemy and attacked. I did that alot. But his fight made you think a little and you would have to set him up for an attack. I admit I died more than I liked.

1.Saix

Saix was definately the most powerful if we're talking KH@,not FM+.Yes,I mean with his Berserk state,but even without it he was difficult,and those large nobodies he summoned really backed him up and let him charge his power again. For his strategy and sheer power I give him number 1.

2.Demyx

The guy may have been a coward,but that didnt mean he couldnt kick a** when he needed too,his dash attacks keeps you on your toes and he rarely gives you a moment of rest.

3.Roxas

Never played any final Mix,but by the video's Roxas can really finish a guy off.

4.Larxene

Speed...Electricity...Clones...that spells power in my book,her stunning and dashing around in CoM really got under my skin

5. Luxord

Yes,the Gambler of Fate..He may seem easy to defeat for others,but the card reaction commands and card slicing moves still challenge me to this day.

6.Xaldin

Not much to say here..this guy can really take down Proud Mode player's.he's still tough even in Normal mode.He has the range to beat many.

7. Xigbar

May not be a melee attacker,but Melee isnt exactly everything. His ability to change the environment to his advantage makes him a dangerous foe.

I cant do the rest since I havent done Re:CoM ^^..

 

My personal opinion;

1. Xemnas - He's the leader for a reason >_<
2. Roxas - Dual-wielding. Enough said. <3 Roxas.
3. Marluxia - He may be a flower child, but he can pack a punch.
4. Axel - Yeah yeah, he was one of the first bosses. But he was hardly trying against Roxas, he forced Marluxia to use Namine, and he took out, like, a bazillion Nobodies in one attack, suicidal method notwithstanding.
5. Saix - Sure, he may seem easy from a gameplay standpoint, but the guy is ****ing scary.
6. Xigbar - He can teleport, walk on air and shoot you a million times before you can do anything. He's powerful.
7. Lexaeus - He's like a Super-Saiyan. If he yelled, "KAKAROT', then people would mistake him for Broly. The downside is, he's REALLY slow.
8. Xaldin - This guy wields 7(?) lances and still looks cool. He's only this low because you fight him so early and his attacks are as slow as Lex's.
9. Larxene - She's as fast as greased lightning. The only problem is, she's not as strong as others, and she uses clones for most of her dirty work.
10. Vexen - He's not very strong, hides behind his shield and lets his experiment do the fighting. Axel, of course, pwned him in two hits.
11. Demyx - Mullet boy uses a blue sitar and doesn't use it well. He hardly even wants to fight. It took Sora's borderline homicidal attitude to get him fighting.
12. Luxord - He plays by his own rules, and he STILL lost. The large vocabulary and British accent are bonus points, if they ever do 'By coolness'.
13. Zexion - He may 'seem' powerful, but his power is illusion. His powers come from using illusion against his opponents. Zexion controls situations to his advantage. If he was ever surprised, he would be the only Org member to be defeated.

 

I disagree with the Lex comment. >.> You forget that he was a scientist in his past life under Wise Ansem's command. WHY would a person named "Wise Ansem" waist his time hiring a guy who was "As dumb as a rock"?! That doesn't make any sense. Just because he's strong and everything doesn't mean he's stupid. >.>

That's only under normal circumstances, though. I think once a Nobody gets at the height of their "emotional" power, they're all pretty much the same... Save for maybe Xemnas and Roxas. That's why Demyx can be so weak and horrible at fighting one moment, and be all, "RAWR - IMMUNAH GET CHOO! D<" the next. XD

my answer is just my thinking. Their fighting Im saying is in recom.
1. Xaldin- you have to have help with an expert (Mickey) to beat him. He is very fast, and he never stops fighting. He is very hard to defeat since his lances can go anywhere.
2. Xemnas- he continues to nonstop fight you, and has great attacks. Its very hard to beat him when he continues to blast you back and block things.
3. Xigbar- he teleports alot and specializes in long range. His shootings deflect and reflect on walls, hitting you. His bullets also explode and seek you.
4. Roxas- hes Sora, so hes really powerful.
5. Axel- You can never step on the ground, or around you. You'll get burned.
6. Saix- He continued to fight, with extraordinary speed.
7. Vexen- he blocked alot of times, and sent things to stop you. He has lots of health, since his shield acts as another addition to his health.
8. Demyx- he got harder when he had low health. The problem with fighting him was that you needed to be fast to destroy his water minions, and quickly land attacks on him before he used his water walls, and bring in more minions.
9. Marluxia- was extremely fast. Parts of the battle field you would get hurt, and his magic attacks alot.
10.Luxord- The problem with him is that you must have keen eyesight. You must attack cards, and find him within the mist.
11. Larxene- She had only a little room for you to attack. She used her martial arts to get away from you, land kunai, and jump away.
12. Zexion- hard to get at him, you must use time to get behind his shield of pages.
13. Lexaeus- like Marluxia. He was too slow.

 

Description Time!

1. Xemnas - he was the leader after all and though the threat of "being turned into a Dusk" was never really confirmed, I wouldn't be surprised if he was behind the engineering of the most "specialized" Minor Nobodies or at least had the power to do so. He was also able to technically somehow create a fake Kingdom Hearts and if that isn't power in that universe, I don't know what is.

2. Marluxia - he is easily one of the most deadly if he wasn't so busy trying to be graceful/play around. He had a countdown attack where if you did not have your magical triangle command, enough levels or dodge skill, Sora would be toast in a set number of hits (regardless of damage, and that is what I think is a very powerful skill). as well as his own personal Nobody to do his bidding (Specter) and do it's own doom counter. (I wonder why it was not included in his FM+ counterpart?) I also have trouble seeing how his element is Nature aside from the petals that appear as his distance attacks are mixed with a good measure of darkness. Also Nature does not equate to a countdown timer of doom, that would be the element of Death. However if we were to go with the CoM only version, he would still hold his ranking as he got to control his own castle, Specter and could make a fairly decent replica of himself to fight Sora.

3. Luxord - despite using cards he ranks up with Marluxia in my opinion given he has a quantity battle. (Time vs Time) He could easily have killed Sora with his Time element but didn't, but then again that would go against his personality to just outright "cheat". (Ironic given he has manners for battle but lacks morals in the other departments...)

4. Xigbar - almost identical to Luxord in that he didn't use his element properly and that he, for some outlandish reason, needed to reload his guns frequently (despite having control over basic laws of physics) and the strange flux it has depending on what bullet he shoots. (The big shot makes sense, but the red vs blue bullet capacity does not.)

5. Larxene - she was able to backhand and take down Repliku in one hit for whatever reason, and for whatever other reason she couldn't do this when she had to fight Sora...then again it could easily be the "she's the sadist she wants her fun to last" approach which would toss her up into the ranks of Marluxia and Luxord if this power was held constant from cutscene to battle.

6. Lexaeus - he has a huge tomahawk as well at the ability to power up. It is made a point that in brute strength he would be in the higher tier however his speed is his only real drawback.

7. Xaldin - he has six lances, one of them is bound to hit something. He gets a lower ranking however because he was disarmed by a mere jab to the gut in a cutscene. (Yet strangely enough does not flinch in battle, go figure.)

8. Saix - once again a heavy hitter but I have to consider how much of it is reliant on the "moon's" power. Regardless when he hits it leaves marks for sure.

9. Demyx - even though he has the power of water if he could barrage his opponents with even more water he could kill them easily. The problem lies in his ability to string them together as well as put more power behind them, and that is why he is low but still higher than some of the others. (I also never quite got the "you must kill the clones in X amount of time or you get auto-killed, but I guess it must be some sort of instant kill attack, so he gets benefit of the doubt for that.)

10. Axel - he is quite resilient and recurring, I think that deserves some merit in on itself, however his attacks see-saw in terms of actual power. He also happens to serve as a tutorial battle and lose "badly" if that makes any sense.

11. Vexen - poor poor scientist. He's caught between being weak or not being 'smart enough to use his power correctly' and since he is supposed to be one of the smartest out of the Organization I am left with the speculation he was simply not as strong. However this is dependent on the point of view of the player really...but then again he was combusted by Axel with a mere finger snap, weakened or not that's not a great display of power considering he has a shield and the forethought to have an auto-life (resurrect) skill.

12. Roxas - Despite what Nomura says I believe Roxas to be in the lower half of the strength totem pole. He seems to lack the emotional control/backing to really utilize his full strength. He was also killed via cutscene in the original KH2 which bottoms out his strength in my opinion.

13. Zexion - his battle style relies too much on the chessboard existing rather than having it busted up by a weapon. He is also a bit too much on the naive side to fully use his power to its fullest and most devastating extent. In a way his battle style could almost be considered the same as a turtle or a magic trick, once you surprise him he's helpless or once you know the method it loses its power. Had he had the personality or same control as Xemnas or even Luxord or Marluxia he wouldn't be so low on the power scale. He was also killed via cutscene in the original so this also hampers his power rating.

 

ehhh...compared to the other nobodies...Lex is not as cunning or sharp. He would rather rely on his pure darkness to swallow up or push back. He seems like Kenpachi from Bleach... The only one hes above in the "smartest" category is Roxas, and im pretty sure the only reason for that is because Roxas has no memories, and is the newest nobody (by joining the organization and from the time of birth) so he probably doesnt know a lot accept what hes had for the past 358 days.

I still see your point though...he isnt that stupid i guess...XD

 

I'm going to back what Foxxie said, who said being smart ment you had to be cunning or sharp? I'm smart but I'm not cunning or sharp, beside I see Lexy to be smarter then some of the other nobodies.

I agree. I feel that people judged Lexaeus off the fact he was a huge guy and associate that with automatically meaning he's dumb. He also was silent, but that fit his name. He seemed to have a sense of order about him and the way of the intelligent warrior. His words when he did speak were no nonsense and straight up. Maybe he wasn't an uber genius like Zexion or as schooled as Vexen but he was pretty intelligent and actually seemed the most calm and reserved about all that was going on.
