I. Hate. The. Background. For. This. One. I don't know what happened with it, but I didn't feel like changing it since it was almost 2 AM when I finished it. Followed Misty's "That's Harsh, Princess!" tutorial found on TKK. Clicky Taa-daa.
It looks pretty nice. However, the background is kind of strong, maybe too strong. Maybe toning down the vintages of it a bit? Or maybe making the patters smaller? Lightning is kind of off, which I think was a main point touched up on in the tutorial. But that's pretty much it, I have Bo other CnC to give. Kind of unrelated, I like how The Fuk is watching this thread on invis. It's like he's a lil' guardian looking out for you. xD, sorry, I couldn't help it <3
Those colours are gorgeous! You did a really nice job of nailing that particular style. I do think that the background patterns are a little distracting however, and takes away from the minimalist feel of the style. I would try a solid neutral background with some back lighting, or some kind of texture perhaps rather than any patterns with solid shapes.
Oh wow. I like. :3 Though this became a real problem as my eyes began to strain in the past few min. Can you tone the lighting down a bit? ^^; It really bright. But its an awesome piece. :3
