  1. Xemnas did not understand how it all began, or how it got to this level. Vexen was asking him a simple question as to check on the machine, and to improve the mechanics, and then Axel interrupted by inquiring and concluding suddenly if it was not good enough, somewhat insulting Vexen's abilities and mind. And of course, due to that alone, it is what got Vexen to defend himself from the accusation as would be typical of him for anyone who knew him. The whole thing was quite uncalled for, and he had wished Axel would let him handle the situation and questioning. Nevertheless, that was where the back and forth argument went into full throttle, and he did not know what to be most displeased about: that it was disrupting his meeting, that the display of anger and emotions were unnecessary, though he had known Vexen, or Even, was always like that, so no doubt it's his memory replaying previous personality, or to the fact that he was getting as headache as he simply watched with a slight frown, and narrow of his eyes at both. He sighed, shaking his head slightly. He could not believe this was happening. The positive aspect in all this was that he did not have to answer Axel's drive of questions one after the other, and something that he would not take lying down so much. And so here he was, watching, and somehow not really listening to their comebacks, his brain aching to a certain extent as it went on and on. He did not know when it stopped, just that the room suddenly got silent, that he noticed, and he blinked, looking down at the whole group of members. Before settling on the battling two. Hearing Axel speak as if this was a contest, he snorted. Then a chuckle. Before full out laughing outloud. "Hahahahahahahahahahahahah!" He lowered his head, his mirth making his chest rumble and shoulders shake as he continued, finding this somehow weirdly amusing. Suppressing his laughter, frankly very entertained in his expression, he then suddenly out of nowhere went back to a blank and cold appearance, the quirk in his lips lowering to a frown as he glared at them, seriousness protruding every aura and pore off his body as if what he had done never occurred. And his voice was icy and low, rumbling, It was almost gawking. "Silence. Foolish bickering. I will not have this in any of the meetings, and for your sake, I would think this would be the last time it happens. I might take action. Are we clear?" He gave them a dangerous, warning, gaze, his hand slightly sparking with a black and silver sphere, before rounding up on Vexen sharply. "You are allowed to leave, and only you. No one dares do so otherwise. I would think I place the trust in what you are doing, and if this turns out to be a weakness, it rests on you. Keep that in mind. Let us see that the illusion lowering would not last long for this to go well. Permission granted, nonetheless. As for you, Axel, I would advise to leave the question and ethics to me, and I alone. I would have rather not have this begun in the first place. As for the answers, as I stated, we will be mostly in the false castle, which you can portal into normally with the Corridors of Darkness if you are injured. The only time you will use my portals there is when you want to get back to the real castle from anywhere you are. We cannot lead them there. Understood? As for Dustix, I would handle that myself, and report when I need to report to any of you. Anything else on the matter?"

That went to everyone in Where Nothing Gathers.

OOC: And before anyone says that it's impossible for Xemnas to do this, check the second to last excerpt xD: http://stray-mikeneko.livejournal.com/1121.html#cutid1

Axel was a bit confused with the way that Xenmas had laughed like that, but he chuckled a little bit upon hearing it. It seem hautning and dark, but to him it seem like a sign of expression of maybe amusement. Either way the red head sighed as he was glad that Vexen had finally given up on the whole round. The flurry had to be careful sometimes even though his cockiness got the better of him. Perhaps it was a superiorty thing with him when he came to being degraded especially by someone who was alot of older that him. He did not know, but he was glad that Xemnas had finally intefered by saying something. If there was one thing Axel had accomplished it was that there had been some scenes of emotion either it be anger and amusement or annoyance, he had accomplished something to break the stillness in the room. No, it wasn't his intention, but either way he gotten some form of entertainment but was it really worth it? He couldn't comprehend his mind playing his memories like this. It had to be from a memory from other part of him doing this. He was too tired to even think about it anymore, and pushed it out of his mind completely. His green orbs eyes now settliing on Xemnas' sphere of power. Of course the superior wouldn't hesitate to hit anyone with it as it was a warning, and Axel didn't want to give any reason for Xaldin, Lexeaeus or anyone else especially Vexen to witness him get shot down and humilated by it. In his eyes he didn't feel humilated over his debate or arguement with Vexen with comebacks. This time however to be delivered by a blow from the tyrant of doom himself kept him at the edge of his seat. Axel wasn't going to let it happen. Even though he wanted to go sleep, but he couldn't leave until the meeting was over. Choosing the better judgment he declined ignoring the trouble thoughts washing up into his head.
Axel wanted to know where Dustix and the other nameless were that Xenmas had tucked away some how. Those was what he was settling on next, but for a strange reason he could not utter to open his mouth anymore over it.

Looking away nervously by turning his head away he shook his head as if the answer was no, but managed to simply. "If I have any more questions I will contact you by dusk."

  4. "Very well," Xemnas replied back tonelessly, taking his eyes away from Axel, and letting the energy he build in his hand dissipitate a she glanced around the room. "Now, if no one has any questions, or rather talk on a topic they want to bring to my attention, the meeting is over."

    OOC: Not much to say...^^;.

With the request accepted and his exit guaranteed, Vexen smiled and nodded, despite a minor chewing out from the leader of the unstable organization."You won't regret it." he told Xemnas before portaling himself out of the room, reappearing outside of his lab.Placing his hand on the door, he lowered his shield and stepped inside, shutting the door behind him and making sure to lock it.

Now..to check up on his work.

"I've got one.." announced Xaldin, arms folded with his back against the chair. He grew tired of such rudeness and instability, and wanted to end it all."It is about Demyx. He has one more chance, as you said once before. What lines can he not cross?..I wish to know so I can..'discipline' him without needing to bother you on the subject."

Axel nodded his head at Xemnas as he let his eyes shut until he heard someone leave and gazed in the direction and saw that Vexen was gone. In his mind he was glad, but when he heard Xaldin speak up it was suspicious for him to hear talk about Demyx. What did the Whirl Wind Lancer have against the musican? Just out of curiously he needed to know. He was a little intimidated with Xalidn since the guy was higher in command and was more brutal, powerful and stronger than him. Yes, of course the other powehouse. So he would approach his attitude to him carefully. Taking a deep breath Axel spoke clearly focusing his attention on the senior member. "Xaldin, what do you have against Demyx in the first place? Far as I know he hasn't done anything to you."

Of course, he had to be interrupted by the one who argued with Vexen just minutes ago.Xaldin turned his head toward Axel, looking down at him with a blank look."Not that it concerns you, but from what I have witnessed earlier, Demyx will be getting what comes to him.Vexen..not being the most hostile, but even the Chilly Academic wanted to harm him.The Nocturne is going too far with this rebellious attitude of his."

(OOC: Is this okay Gatekeeper? I referred to the dancers awaiting for the shield to lower in my other post so this was planned.)

Once Vexen lowered his shield to his lab, the dancers took the opportunity to sneak in unnoticed. Leaping gracefully in place where their feet did not make a sound, their bodies loomed over the many bottles and items in the lab. Looking at each other they quickly took anything that was present as their master had commanded. Knowing the prescense of another that wore the cloak they escaped with what they had afraid of being destroyed. They were out of harm's way for now.

Time passed as the musician paced around his room, a feeling of concern traced on his features. What was taking so long? How much more did the meeting have to last? Blowing some air from being mentally exhausated, he sat down on his bed and looked out his window. What was the looming heart before was now nothing, but darkness. Xemnas's plan confused him and he would probably forget what was said. It was typical of his character to do that. Deciding that was boring he settled himself down on the ground and starred at the journal ahead laying face open. Everything seemed so dull and boring without his sitar to keep him company. What would he do in the meantime to entertain himself? Scratching his head, he wished he could go swim for perhaps the ocean would clear his mind? He dismissed that idea knowing he couldn't leave the prison he referred the castle as. Stepping out of his room, he wandered down the hall to see that the dancer was obeying his order by watching over Marluxia's room. Nodding with approval he walked past the bedrooms of the organization members, dragging his gloved hand across the doors leaving his imprints. Returning to his room with boredom, he was surprised and pleased to see that the dancers had returned with a bunch of goodies now placed on his bathroom counter. "You've done well. Go join the others," instead of ordering around in a firm tone, his words were softer and genuine. Leaving him now alone, the melodious nocturne picked up the different bottles and looked them over wondering what they did? This is going to be harder than I thought," he starred at the choices before him. "I need the one that would heal me, but which one is it? I don't see any labels?"

Axel saw no part to argue with the higher member, but he still needed to explain to him why Demyx was like this. It couldn't hurt to try at least. Once again he would ask himself why he was being this way and disrepecting older members. He had more respect for Xaldin, but didn't want the older member to hurt Demyx. However, the meeting was a discussion and he needed to know the point of views of the other members. "With all due respect, he is not in the right stable mind. When you get injured your mind reacts in a way it normally doesn't. However, if he disrepected you let me deal with him." He smirked at the last few words, naturally though he was a bit nervous because he could perhaps being making the stronger member angry and without a doubt Axel feared Xaldin.

"..Do you think of me as a fool,Axel?" Xaldin asked coldly, sitting up from his comfortable position to show that he was entirely serious about this subject. He was not playing games, and he'd be damned if he looked like a joke."It's been clear that you and Demyx are friends, and sweet talking will not help this time.If he pulls another stunt like he did in the kitchen, he will not walk away with all of his limbs...unless, you plan to stop me..?"

    He awaited the answer.

Axel was alarmed with Xaldin's attitude as he remained completely still. However, he did not like to be intimidated by him. He only spoke to him respectfully not in a rude matter and the red head didn't think it was in fact a sweet tone he had used. He was trying to state that he was going to hurt the noturne, but somehow Xaldin didn't see it that way. "No, why would you say that? I have deep respect for you." I just think I should handle him because I know him better. Yes he is my friend, but so is Roxas, but I have a ruthless side as well. I can deal horrible punishment if I had to do so." He answered his body felt like it was shaking, but it wasn't just his hands. "If I can't keep him out of your hair then you can deal with me." He blurted out and wished he didn't because he knew how some of the senior members would enjoy that method. What the hell was wrong with him? It wasn't like him to be this way, but he saw no other way out. Either way he hoped that Xaldin wouldn't take it.

"No." Xaldin said firmly and with a sort of growl in his tone, wishing for Axel to know that Demyx had had one chance too many.He was tired of his emotional screw-ups and rudeness to try and make others look bad."..He needs to deal with someone he isn't friends with..the fact of the matter is that you'll warn him..but it will not stick in his head.He needs more than a talking to.."

You don't want to know what he'd do...trust me.

Hovering over his Elixir of Elements, Vexen extinguished the heat under it by turning the burner off.Seeing it's liquid blue form increased Vexen's need to test, but before he could scoop the contents into a vial, he had realized it was highly likely that it would be taken.

Two members in particular...water...fire...annoyances to no end.

He turned around to examine the quantity of his vials, and to his displeasure, more were gone than when he left for the meeting.Demyx left early..he planned this..that little-.

Vexen gritted his teeth and exited his lab, not bothering to lock it behind him as he headed for Demyx room, his element of Ice radiating from him, letting the whole world know he was furious.

Call him a nerd, a geek, a loser, perhaps.

    But take his things...his belongings..his work..and you'll pay.

Marluxia stood up stretching, wondering what could possibly be keeping Larxene asleep for this long. Could it be the event had shocked her so much that all she truly wanted to happen was fade away in her dreams forever, never destined to awake to a present in which she could remember the past. He sighed at the thought, knowing that deep down it truly could be something holding her back, but was for sure not something she need dwell on.

He rubbed his temples, reaching down he took one of her hands in his free hand, giving it a gentle squeeze, "besides..." he uttered softly looking her over, "if you fade...then was it not our promise that I should fade as well..." he said placing her hand back down on the bed and walking over to his window. He knew that there was a purpose he was waiting in his room other than to watch over Larxene...he was waiting.

His eyes narrowed along with his brow as he thought of the look he had received from Xemnas upon leaving the meeting without his consent. "I shall show you my "superior" you are not as omnipotent as you believe you are..." he said his tone becoming stern. "You were able to hold down these lessers...making them do whatever...but from that one day you knew I would no longer tolerate your wishes that I was at chance of finding fault in..."

Scrathing the back of his head, he didn't know what he was going to do with the viles that were laying on their sides on the counter. "Why couldn't of Vexen put labels on them?" he uncorked the stopper and snifffed it turning away in a disgusted manner. "This smells awful. I'm not drinking this. Who knows what it will do to me. I'm not an idiot," he held the green vial between his fingers. "How can I test what this does?" He looked around his bathroom thinking of what to do. "I know," he grinned ear to ear as he summoned one of his servants. "Don't take this the wrong way or anything, but I have to do this," he spoke to it as he kicked the dancer with the back of his foot and slammed its head on the counter. "Ok now how do you feel?" He jumped slightly as the dancer fell on the ground like a tree being cut down by a saw. "Ok I take it you're in pain if you can feel that. Sorry, but it's to prove a point. Now go ahead and drink this," he handed the dancer the green liquid. He watched intentially as the servant of the melodious nocturne downed it in nothing flat leaving some behind. "Ok now all I have to do is wait to see what happens." Upon wating he felt the presence of Vexen coming his way, the icy frigid old man was going to show him a thing or two. "Oh no! oh no! The old geezer is going to turn me into a iceicle and I don't have my weapon to counter attack him with. I've got to make this fast." Summoning some dusks he beat them and then some of the dancers to test the diffferent colored potions effects. "You, you, you, you, and you take a gulp from all the different colors of the viles now." He was beginning to panic as the dancers and dusks shrugged and did what they were told. "I've got to hide these somewhere." Picking up the bottles one by one he held them in his arms and franctically ran around the room looking for somewhere to hide them. Running out of options he opened up his dirty close hamper that was in his bathroom and placed them in there placing his garments over them. "He'll never want to look there." Dashing back to his bedroom, he picked up his journal that he was writing in before he had thrown it to the door earlier, picked up a pen and pretended to be lost in thought as he sat on his bed, his back propped up by his pillow. The key thing was not to look guilty or suspicious. Touching the side of his face he made sure his hood was concealing his face so Vexen could not see the injuries that Marluxia had given him earlier.

Ever so suddenly, just as the Nocturne was ready to pretend he was innocent, Vexen stomped through the doorway and stomped his foot.Rapidly, Icicles sprouted from the floor and spread around him and went all across the room, soon making Demyx room hold an icy chill.Vexen, while known as the 'Chilly' Academic, now had a burning rage in his eyes.

"Where are my vials..?" he growled, Freezing Pride appearing in his right hand.

Axel was surprised that Xaldin didn't take the other option, but he figured it was only because he was a great fighter to not want to waste his hands on. Sighing Axel listened to Xaldin's anger and cold tone concerning Demyx. In the back of his mind the flame dancer really needed to do something about the noturnme and make it hurt. He had an idea how brutal that Xaldin could be. The older member could show mercy, but even after that anyone better watch out. This had changed Axel's whole demeanor on the situation if he didn't want Demyx to most likely get killed he would have to intimidate him himself. It was the only way to save him, and perhaps it would give the sitar player a reality check to not mess with the higher members. Friend or not the flurry knew it was the only way to keep him alive. Axel rather show a different side to Demyx than he was protraying. Hopefully he could convince Xaldin he was the nobody of the job. "You don't really want to waste your energy on him. He isn't worth your time and you should save it for the battle. Plus he is not even a challenge for someone to your status. Let me take care of him, if he is going to have this rebelilious nature then I should deal with him...." Axel voice had darken between the last sentence as he pointed confindentily to himself. If granted permission he would show Demyx the truly dark version of himself if it came to that other side of his. If he was the innocent Demyx then that would be a different story. The whole Demyx thing was the reason why he couldn't even get a decent amount of sleep, or actually any kind for that matter.

Hearing Axel argue further made Xaldin realized that he wouldn't stop, and killing him in front of Xemnas wouldn't be the best idea.So..why not have Xemnas himself decide what to do? "Xemnas..I'll let you decide.." he said, resting back in his chair calmly.

Demyx placed his journal down slightly pretending that Vexen wasn't in the room until he felt the frigid air pass through his room and saw the iciles form. This sent a cold chill down his spine as he seized his blanket wrapping his upper body in it. The last thing he needed was to get sick. "Vexen if you'll calm down instead of turn my room into your personal ice cave let me explain ok?" He got up from his bed the blanket still wrapped around him, the journal close to the edge of the bed ready to fall and a terrified expression would of been visiable if not for the hood. "I had my dancers sneak into your lab when you let your shield down for a good reason. You see I knew you wern't going to give me a cure to get my strength back so I'll be in the shape I need if we have a war on our hands so I had to resort to being sneaky and had my dancers get them for me, but the problem was I didn't know what to take so I had a few of my dancers and dusks drink individually different colors of the liquids after I practically beat them up to see if which liquid would cure the nobody. I wasn't going to take something that I didn't know what would do to me? So I had them test if and I'm waiting to see what is going to happen to them. So far nothing has happened," he backed away from him slightly. "There is more to the story". He took one step backwards letting go of his blanket. "If you promise not to hurt me or have anyone hurt me I'll let you know," his shoulders hit the back of his wall. "I don't do anything without a reason. I'm not like that. I don't purposely cause trouble," he watched his journal fall on the floor and clenched his teeth as the pages were now revealed for all to see. "Don't look at that please," he said to himself wishing he could grab it.

"Idiot!Do you think you'll walk away from this without any sort of consequence!?" Vexen asked, nearly shouting in Demyx face as he began pacing, eyes set onto the Nocturne as if he was going to eat him alive. The icicles ceased momentarily.

"I give you nothing, because you've done nothing but shown rudeness toward me.A kick to the rear by a Dancer, a cup of water thrown at me, don't think I forgot any of this!" he dismissed Freezing Pride and looked around, wanting to destroy something of his..and then, he saw the journal and quickly picked it up."And what is...this.." he muttered, reading each line with an incredible amount of speed, making sure to move away from Demyx if he tried anything.

With this funny and not to mention embarrassing amount of news, Vexen didn't need to destroy him physically.

    He'd destroy his reputation first.

"Interesting.." he muttered, a smirk on his lips.

He cringed from the loud erruption from Vexen's mouth. "Could you be even louder old man?" he turned away. "I know you're mad, but can you calm down first. Look what I did to you was uncalled for, but you had to start it by putting me down like you always do. No one except the senior members are good enough for ya," he explained his point. "Cut me some slack. I've been through hell and back with the boss, Larxene, and the some of the members from the nameless organization," he left out Marluxia's name not wanting to tell him what he did to him. Glad that Vexen was not using his ice on him, his senses froze and he bit his tongue lightly as he watched Vexen pick up his journal with his own personal thoughts and feelings in it. "Oh no you don't," he lunged for it trying to grab it back from the taller member, but he couldn't from the height difference. "You wouldn't dare." He exclaimed shouting at him. "That's mine and you have no business reading it. That's an invasion of my privacy. Have you no decency?" he barged into him trying to knock him over to grab the book. "Give it back now!" He exclaimed, pullling on his cloak and leaped on him like a wild animal wishing he had his sitar to knock out the scientist senseless.
