http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiRSH6qhoyM Above is a review of the game(that isn't by IGN). I'm surprised there aren't any threads about this game. It was released today. After all the advertising I've seen for the game and everything I've heard of it, I personally want to go out and buy it ASAP. There's been a lot of comparisons with it and Team Fortress 2 because of the class-based characters. Brink is a First Person Shooter with parkour involved in the movement around the map. It's mostly a multiplayer game with a narrative that's shown through each mission and despite the PSN issues it was still released this month. I'm assuming it was to prove that it could stand in as a single player game. The single player mode is essentially the same as multiplayer with the only difference being AI bots instead of player controlled characters on the teams. There doesn't seem to be too many maps or missions but there's a lot of unlockable stuff and I'm assuming there will be DLC by next month. Brink is already out for the 360, PS3, and PC. Of course, the PS3 users(like myself) will have to wait until the PSN is back up to play Brink online. Anyone else interested in getting this game?
I heard about this game, but I didn't know it was out yet, but it certainly looks amazing. I'll probably pick it up sooner or later, the gameplay looks really nice. The parkour movements seems to be very similar to Mirrors Edge, and I like!
I hear it wasn't very good, and to be honest, the gameplay didn't look so good either. I just hope L.A. Noire is better, because I end up preordering that instead.
I'd be lying if I said I've heard of that before today. Certainly interesting though; 'see if I can get it.
I'm very interested in this game... Probably wont be able to pick it up :( From what i've seen, it looks very promising though. Not just a run round lone wolf game (aka COD), but more of a collective experience. And by the way **** IGN. That review was so terrible.
