Breath of Fire III Beaten

I got my replacement copy of Breath of Fire III yesterday and just beat the game now (I just had the final dungeon left).

 

Well, that's interesting. I just got my second copy of Dirge of Cerberus the other day, and yet I can't play past the first chapter because my PS2 is old and stupid. I should probably try to clean it at least

 

Easily my favorite game of the PS1 era. Did you manage to clear the Container Yard fights?

 

Not yet, no. However, I ran into the berserker last night and got a game over (luckily I had just saved my game).

 

Didn't think so since they are ridiculously overpowered and you said you just beat the game. Goo King would be more likely the next target.

Also fishing, because there is nothing like catching a whale with a fishing rod.

 

I happened to come across a Goo King in Eden the time I played it before yesterday! Dat experience, yo!

 

My first goo king was at the faery spring. I got freaking owned.

 

Here's my party, if helps you suggest anything. Reading an FAQ, Arch Mage gives better loot! (I also haven't done the Fairy Village side quest yet.)

You monster. Neglecting Peco and fairies? I bet you kick puppies too. But actually the spring I was talking about was way back in the childhood section of the plotline. And it may have been a Titan Goo since I've never seen a King show up there again, even with searching.

Anyway, since you use Rei the two biggest aids are the chain formation and learning to control the weretiger. Golden Kaiser is also nice but it is expensive as hell to use.
