Brainstorming for a Sailor Moon RP

Today I was watching the Sailor Moon S and R movies, and I thought about making a role-play.

I haven't come up with a story or anything like that, or the fact that it would be . . . difficult, because there are only so many planets and the whatnot. But if this were to blossom, I would like the story to be original (erm . . . duh?), rather than based on the anime or manga, although would still be using the characters from - I feel pretty dense right now about this . . .

But if we could get some ideas, or support on this, I would really like that.​

 

I'd be game for this. Maybe it could be an alt universe where the main senshi are somehow incapcitated or sealed away, and its up to a salior senshi "b-team" to hold down the fort long enough to find out how to free the others, or beat the baddies.

Actually, that doesn't sound like a bad idea at all. There would be two dimensions and someone from the Senshi 'a-team' would come over to this second dimension and get help, a little like the second arc of the manga, when Chibiusa comes from the 30th century to ask for Sailor Moon's help.

All we need is enough people to handle each already set Senshi, and then make up a few ones - or, hell, they don't even have to be Senshi, we can call them something else, since they're from a different dimension.

hmmm this is just a suggestion, but with each of the PC's had a fatal flaw that made them part of the "B-team". Ya know like some sorta character flaw that keeps them from reaching there full potential in battle and in life (like hedonism, an addicition, or trust issues). That way there'd be room for character development and a chance for different PC's to bond as they can cover each others weakness, and eventually help them deal with whatever personality problem they possess.
