Minimize: The user compresses its body to make itself look smaller, which sharply raises its evasiveness.

Double Team: By moving rapidly, the user makes illusory copies of itself to raise its evasiveness.

You should only be able to use Minimize once considering it raises your evasiveness more than double team.

Thanks for the extra info. I agree than; if we allow the moves at all, only one usage of Minimize per active Pokemon.

*sigh* I just want to have fun with this, guys. Not hear arguments about the ethics of using generated Pokémon (or whatever the f*** Hayabusa and Karuta have been arguing about in two different goddamn threads) like it were a boring, nerdy version of the political talks on Game of Thrones and the Star Wars prequels combined.

I think it's better to ban such moves altogether, to prevent the need to follow up and make sure this rule was followed.

There are just so many moves with effects pertaining to accuracy and evasion that I would rather just ban them all, too.

Sorry if you don't like it, but I feel that it needs to be discussed until there's a consensus. If people don't like whatever is eventually agreed upon, than they don't participate, simple as that. I already said that I won't participate in a 3DS tournament if someone is admitting to using generated Pokemon.

You could always not look at the thread.

Also I am still against the use of double team type moves.

I say nay to banning evasion boosting/accuracy dampening move banning. If we just make it a rule to be allowed a certain amount of uses per Pokémon (evasion boosting) or towards per Pokémon (accuracy dampening) then we could still keep them in for strategy reasons.

Making it so someone could have up to +2 evasion or -2 accuracy, that just adjusts the playing field in a more "random" way. Which takes the whole "skill thing" and throws it out the window.

Wait...are we going to make rules about stuff like Sand Attack? Personally, I don't think those need to be hit, only limited; you can switch your Pokemon out in most cases.

sand attack is the same concept as double team. Making it so you are harder to hit, or making it so the enemy is less likely to hit a skill just makes it more and more luck based. Which as I said before, makes it a battle of luck not skill.

Alright, I agree with that then. There's a poll anyway, so we got time before we make any concrete rules.

By and by, I do like how this thread is going so far. Putting specific restrictions into polls is a good way to see what most of the participants want.
