Birth by Sleep Braig evil?

I read somewhere that Braig said to Sora, Donald and Goofy they weren't half the hero as the others were so would this mean he fought TVA? I think this site may have the cutscene. I'll go find it.

It has already been confirmed that Braig/Xigbar has at least met Terra/Aqua/Ven at some point. We don't know much else apart from that.

 

Well it looks like he's fought them too by the look of the vid. Well at least nobody can argue now.

 

I don't think he would have fought them, at the time he was just a researcher. He may have just seen them as they were passing through Radiant Gardens.

 

Agreed, From what we've heard about the students of Ansem none of them sound like they fought VAT. They sound like normal people until they started following Xehanhort.

 

Yeah, it means he's met them, not necessarily fought them.

 

I do honostly think there is more to Xigbar/Braig than meets the eye. out of all the Org members he seems to have the most connections to the past (this is excluding Xemnas obviously). not only does he have those quotes from KHII but there is also a Ven cameo in Days seen through Xigbar's eyes. I firmly believe that Braig will appear in Birth by Sleep

1) Why doesn't Xigbar have a keyblade then?
2) Yes they look kind of alike, but I highly doubt any of the apprentices fought VAT.
3) Why study under Ansem The Wise?

Doubt it. They sound like normal humans.

No information about DS indicates he has an interest in the heart. And we have to remember Even (Like his nobody) was a scientist. Something new with experiments to answers unknowns in the univerese is bound to interest his mind, in fact it interested all the apprentices.

To an extent they were evil, but it depends on what side your on.
We know Xemnas wanted a heart as well as power to create his own new world.

Actually, Ienzo and Even were named as apprentices in the KH2 Ansem reports.

 

All six of the apprentices were some kind of scientist. Ienzo and Even worked under Xehanort and seem to be the closet to him. The apprentices are the reason why there are even heartless to begin with. Though Ienzo was the youngest of the apprentices it has been proven that aside from Even he was the smartest of them. Braig I feel will have a big part in BBS as it hints in 358/2 days and he sees Ven. Nomura even stated that in an interview that the intial members have a part in it. Let's think about this, the heart in the sky forshadows things.

 

It was pretty much confirmed in the Final Mix cutscene where Xigbar chats with Zexion that Xigbar had met VAT during his time as a human. In fact, Nomura confirms that Braig has seen VAT when he was a disciple to Ansem the Wise. However, from the way Xigbar was speaking about VAT, it doesn't seem like he ever fought them - at most, he had conversed with them at one point.
