So I just bought The World Ends With You today. I have know clue what this games is about and I bought it because I think it may help me understand the character in KHDDD a little better so does this game have a good story?
It's very experimental. The story is pretty cool and plays well into the gameplay. They go hand in hand.
So much love for this game! Good story....good doesn't describe it.....TWEWY can't be described in words. :P The story is too amazing!! This is one of my favorite DS games so far. I think you will enjoy it ^^
Play it and devote all your free time for it. I'm not kidding. It has a really amazing story and is one of my favorites games from Nintendo DS so far. The story is great, I really recommend it! The gameplay can be a little hard at the beginning, so I recommend you to set your partner as "Auto" when you get the chance in doing so. First things first, learn how to master Neku and you will do fine learning control your partner. Want to know a little about the story? Look: Spoiler 1 week, Seven days. You have 1 hour today, otherwise you are erased. -The Reapers. Play it people. ^^
The story is very unique and the characters are all loveable in their own way (even if they seem awful at first). I can't really say much else without spoiling like half of the game for you, but play it and see for yourself.
Started playing it and the players are kinda hard to control but i know i will get use to it after awhile. I seems pretty interesting so far!
Well, for most people, you pick up the controls over time and either love it or hate it. The gameplay is one of the pleasant quirks of this game for a lot of fans and once you've mastered it, collecting pins and such becomes a fun incentive to keep you playing long after you've beaten the story.
I remember when I bought this game years ago, I saw on stores and saw teh artwork looking similar to Kingdom hearts, plus it had Square on it and since I was a FF and Kh fan, I figure, hell why not get this since the game i originally intended to get wasn't being sold, as soon as I played it, I was amazed and didn't regret buying it at all., I didn't even hear about it or read it ina magazine unlike Kingdom Hearts I. The characters are unique in their own ways as well as the gameplay itself, I did find it kinda funny you kill tattoed animals with pins but I enjoyed it. Spoiler .....GO PIGGY!
LOVE THAT GAME! my friend bought it a couple years ago and I borrowed it from her. It's great and consitently throws you through a loop. There's a lot of crossover fan art for TWEWY & KH. if I was on my computer, I would post some. I love joshua. But it's kinda hard not to love him.
My love for this game cannot be described with words. I highly reconmend this game to any DS owner and use head phones to get the full experience with the soundtrack. It is one of those soundtracks that will keep you going for hours and never get sick of it. <(^o^)>
Agreed. There are several characters who you will hate in the beginning and then love later on because of how they changed.
I'm getting use to the controls now and it's really fun so far. One things that bugs me is how Neku acts. It seem unrealistic or unfitting to him. IDK. Besides that the games great so far! =)
I didn't like his attitude in the beginning either, but you will grow to love him XD As someone else said, the characters grow and change throughout the game. You shall see ^^
Give it some time. He'll change, trust me. I personally wanted to slap him in the face so many times in the beginning, but by end, I actually liked him (not my favorite character, but a pretty good character)
He is very emo and depressing and all i hate my life. but he groes. I like the depth that the characters have. They all really change and become more relatable. Spoiler mr. Hanaekoma looks/acts exactly like my high school art teacher. They are the EXACT same person. Welles is like the living version of hanaekoma.
