Bosses That Raped Your Childhood

Just discuss some bosses you had a hard time with as a young kid.

My number one choice would be Whitney from Pokemon Gold/Silver. That damn miltank...

 

haha i remember that... she was hard... ummmm I'd have to say seymour in FF10 i mean the 3rd battle... kept killing me and yunalesca

 

Yeah I'd go with Whitney..also Claire from the same game.

and Koga/Agatha in Red/Blue in the pokemon series.

 

Sephiroth in KHI. I was only like 9 or 10 at the time. I died... so.. many times. ;_;

 

I hated Whitney so much in the G/S/C series.

I lost so many times to Lance in R/B/Y and I didn't know why until I looked up a FAQ.

 

Gary/Red/Whatever the hell his name was in the original Blue, Red, and Yellow Pokemon.

You go through the whole Elite Four, and then he's the Champ and has a bunch of Pokemon you've never seen before.
B*****d.

 

I remember that. He had a beast of a Garydos that obliterated my Charizard. D:

 

Oh man, people are listing Pokemon and Kingdom Hearts in a list of tough boss battles, what has the world come to.

I was five or six...and common sense and strategy didn't mean much to me. xD

I remember another being the two headed dragon wizard from Spyro. Uggh, childhood nightmares are coming back. xDD

 

Oh wow. Amen to all those.

Oh, also, Dr.Wily from Mega Man 8 was pretty hard. His entire dungeon was one of the most aggravating experiences of my childhood.

ROFL precisely it was always just "Quilava, ember!" over and over again until I won, because we were like 5.

 

I hated Mandross in the Star Fox Series I rememberyou had to blast his head, then his brain then his head and brain again and then a couple more and then his ghost before you beat him

 

Mandross? lol.

Hammer Bros. in Super Mario World for the gameboy,in world 8-2 I could never get past them xD

 

Mike Tyson... have you ever played Punch Out? Imagine a boxing game where your oponent only had a two frame jab, an three frame uppercut, and jabs take half a life bar in damage, and uppercuts take a full life bar...

Oh yeah, and your punches do almost no damage, and you if you beat on him non stop (dodging his every attack) you won't be able to knock him down for the first 2 rounds... but more than likely he will be beating on you non stop....

If you have ever played Mike Tyson... you know excactly what I am talking about...

 

I thought Riku was pretty hard (2nd time fighting) if you count him as a boss

 

Yaridovich from Super Mario RPG, he was big metal thing that all the evil toads transformed into

he was beast

 

for me it was that frist boss on one of the spyro games i just keep dieing
i never had much trouble with pokemon games untill i brough a copy of pokemon red i had gold siliver leaf green and shappire and in all of them i finhsed but red was so hard

 

By far Diablo in Diablo II I still can't beat him >_>

 

Psycho Mantis from Metal Gear Solid. And as overrated as Sephiroth (and the whole game in general) is, he was still one hell of a ***** in FFVII.

 

The Biolizard from Sa2B. God, I head Shadow mutter "Maria..." A few hundred times. Seriously.
