Boomerang just ruined my life

They went from Teen Titans and Ed Edd n' Eddy to Chowder and Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated

I'm not saying Chowder or Mystery Inc are bad shows

I'm saying they're not Teen Titans and Ed Edd n' Eddy

 

They need to have an HD channel D:

 

Never liked Ed, Edd, n' Eddy. It was like the Flintstones.

 

Yo, Chowder is definitely on par with Ed Edd n Eddy. Be mad about more Scooby-Doo.

 

I'm jealous. Our package doesn't have Boomerang, and the one that does is more expensive, and my mom wouldn't be able to afford it when it went back up to regular price.

When you first sign up with Dish Network, DirecTV, etc., you get a year with a low price; then the next year it goes up a bit; then it finally goes to normal price the next year.

 

Newer Scooby Doo is just complete ass.

Scooby-Doo in general is just something I can no longer watch.

Chowder's joke quality is pretty solid but it lacks the dimension of EEnE

That and the only two recurring characters who really fuel the show imo are Chowder and Mung, Schnitzel and Truffles are mostly add-ons (and I find Truffles obnoxious tbh)

 

I heard that in one of the newer reboots that they explain that Scooby is an alien and that's why he can talk.

I'd say Chowder makes more actual jokes and Ed, Edd n' Eddy relies a lot of relation and teh random. Both great shows and Chowder is always just as amusing to me.

 

Yes, the art style, voice acting (if you can even call it that) and pretty much everything about it is just terrible compared to the older stuff. If that is unreasonable, then I am perfectly fine being unreasonable.

 

Rofl I'd flip that around. EEnE has as much surrealist absurdity as it has "Oh god that's so true" moments, wordplay, and mixed-and-matched subtlety/hyperbole moments, whereas Chowder seems to be composed mostly of the absurdity bit. But it's w/e I like them both :v

 

Hence why I said Ed Edd n Eddy relied on relation. It didn't tell jokes, it showed them. Its dialogue relied on teh random (Ed, and DD come to think of it...). Chowder's entertainment came from its dialogue- it TOLD jokes. Chowder's like a stand up comedian, Ed, Edd n Eddy is a sitcom.
