Boarding School

Nami got out her book. "Perfect time and place for reading a good book." She opened her book and sat down.

 

WHat are you reading? He asked.

 

"Oh," she said. "It's called The Dark is Rising." Nami let out a giggle. "Guess you could say I'm a sucker for fantasy novels.

 

Geryl chuckled softly as he looked over her shoulder.

 

She read on. "what kind of books do you like, Geryl?" she asked, looking up from her book.

 

Almost any kind.He said.

 

"Books are great, aren't they?" Nami said. "They practically take you into another world."

 

Geryl nodded as he read over her shoulder.

 

"If you want to make sense of this," she looked at Geryl. "Start from the beginning. I'm on the last chapter."

 

Geryl looked at her. You're going to ley me borrow it?

 

"Why not? Unless, of course," she smiled. "You don't want it."

 

Of course I want to borrow it! He said.

 

"Well then, I'm done." Nami gave the book to Geryl. "I'm pretty sure you'll like this book."

 

Geryl smiled. THanks. He said.

 

"No prob." she happily said.

 

Geryl opened teh book to the first page and read to himself.

 

Nami turned. "Well, I'll be in my dorm. see you later!" she walked to her dorm. I'm so happy... she thought. A nice place to live, a great school, nice friends... It's everything I've ever wanted, all in one!

 

Later. He called back and continued to read.

 

Nami got to her dorm, and lied down on her bed. "So soft..."

 

Geryl then read while walking back to his dorm.
