Boarding School

Alyce smiled and took the cracker. "Good luck on finding that girl." she teased as she leaned against the fountain. "I think you just need to stop thinking every girl who likes your bike is a robot."

 

Jacob chuckled, shaking his head. "Sorry about that. I mean, how many pretty girls go around staring at bikes?" He nudged her playfully. "I thought i'd died and gone to heaven when even one amazingly beautiful girl commented it."

 

Alyce blushed faintly. "Amazingly beautiful? That's certainly a change from a robot." she teased.

 

Jake shrugged, tossing the half of his stale cracker to the birds watching them.
"But hey." He shrugged, smileing now. "You could be an amazingly Beautiful robot."

 

Alyce whacked him over the head. "So says you. As far as I know, I'm a human. Not a robot, Bike Boy."

 

"It's Jake." He smiled, rubbing his head. "Not bike boy. And I know you aren't a robot."

 

"But Bike Boy sounds better." Alyce smiled.

"Of course I know you don't think I'm a robot. If you did, I've hit you harder."

 

Jake grinned, touching the side of her face with the tips of his fingers. "Im positive you aren't a robot. "He whispered. Then he pulled back, blushing, clearing his throat.


ooc: I have to go. Ill be back in an hour and a half.

 

Alyce blushed and turned around, touching her face lightly where Jake had just touched it.

 

ooc: Im back.

He wrapped the last few crackers up in the plastic, he'd eat them for lunch later, then turned to throw a stone in the fountain.
"Why are you at this school?" He asked absentmindedly, trying to fill the silence.

 

Nami smiled. "Hey, Alyce," she said, winking. "You're blushing."
ooc: I'm back!!

 

Alyce covered her face. "I'm not blushing! I was just...um..." She sighed. "Okay, maybe I was..." she muttered.

 

Jake smirked, trying to think of something else besides Alyce. "Classes start today right? Or do they start tomorrow?"

 

"They start tomorrow, I think. One more day of freedom." She grinned.

 

"UGh...Jake frowned. "I hate school." He sighed, sitting against the fountain. "Why are you at this school?" He couldn't pull his eyes away from her smile for some reason.

 

"A break from home. I needed a break from playing babysitter and some time to myself." she replied dryly, her grin fading into a half smile.

 

"Siblings?" He asked, he smiled gently, seeing the slight darkening her smile had taken. He didn't like it when she wasn't happy. "You're lucky..."

 

"Yeah, two hyper, younger siblings that manage to make me want to rip my hair out half of the time." She smiled faintly. "The other half of the time, they're not that bad."

 

Geryl walked outside of his room and sighed. Wonder if I can find friends to make........

 

Noticing someone walk past, Alyce gave a wave and smiled.
