Boarding School

Alyce sighed as she looked down at her feet, not trusting herself to look up and not break down. She suddenly remembed the papers and reached for her sketchbook, flipping it open to them. Surprisingly enough, her sketchbook and the notes had made it through the fire in pretty good condition.

 

ooc: I have to go soon. School dance.

Jake pulled out some lotion, wiping some suit off his nose but just managing to smear it across his face. He saw the papers and raised an eyebrow. "What's that?"

 

OOC: I went to one of those a while ago. Have fun! ^^

Alyce shrugged. "I don't know. They look like research to me...but I'm not sure whose they are. And I didn't get much time to think about them, because the second after I picked them up, the hall went up in flames." She handed them over to Jake and asked, "Are we any closer to getting out of this dump?"

 

Geryl walked down the hallway and looked around him as he was cautious.

 

Geryl Jasmine memory yelled.

 

Geryl turned toward teh direction where it came from. Who's there?

 

Jake nodded, sitting next to her and eyeing the papers. "Well, the bomb is almost done. I need about a day more and we should be able to get out...maybe... I didn't have alot of the right parts so I had to improvise. It should work though."

 

Geryl went over to Jake. Bomb you say?

 

Jake looked up and nodded. "I've been making one in my dorm. It's only an F-13 at this point but im gonna raise it to a G-20 tonight. Why?"

 

THat sounds good. For the shadow?He asked.

 

"I don't think a bomb is gonna work on the shadow. I was just gonna blow up the wall and get us out of here."

 

Alyce looked up and gave a tired smile. "What he said. Although, I wouldn't mind if the shadow diappeared too."

 

Jake pulled out the lotion he'd found in the cabnet. "In the fire back there," He said to Alyce. "Did you get burned?"

 

Fire? He asked.

 

Alyce thought for a minute. "Surprisingly, no, I don't think I did. I probably would have if you hadn't gotten me out of there sooner." She turned to Geryl. "One of the sections of the school went up in flames."

 

Seems this school has secrets then. He said sitting on the floor.

 

Jake shuddered at the thought. All those flames. They had been everywhere. And when he saw Alyce in the middle of them...he was so afraid...horrified that...
He shook his head, setting the lotion aside and turning to Geryl. "The shadow is playing games with us. he can kill us whenever he wants, but he isn't. We're just his puppets."

 

Geryl grimaced. Atleast now I can fight again.

 

Alyce shuddered faintly, remembering the fire. "That's why we need to get out of here as soon as possible. The fact that he can kill us whenever he wants to makes me wonder; if he's going to kill us...why hasn't he done it yet?"
