"Your property?" Alyce's voice came out so icy she wondered if she was still even acting. "Listen up, pretty boy. I am not your property. I don't belong to anyone."

ooc: I know. Isn't it great? I've never been so mean in my life!...sigh...im happy we're just acting though.

OOC: If I knew you in real life and you said that to me, I'd probably have beat you up by now.

"It's Alyce." Alyce managed to say, feeling a bit of anger rising in her. She knew Nami had said something that would get everyone's attention, but he didn't have to be that cruel. "And I'd rather die before I belonged to anyone, let alone an insensitive jerk like you."

Geryl limped around the school. What I sense in this ring is that it's Jasmine's. Sooooo where is she? He wondered.

 

Jake watched Alyce for a moment, knowing he may have gone a bit far by the look in her eyes. "Well...then..." He was actually at a loss for words, too guilty to think straight.

 

"It's over. Live with it, pretty boy." Alyce told him dryly before she stormed out of the office, making sure the door slammed loudly behind her. She figured Nami must have had enough time to get flashlights.

 

Jake stood for a moment like an idiot before running out into the hallway after her.
"Alyce." He called as he spotted her in the hall.

 

Alyce didn't turn around, but she stopped. "Nice acting. Almost seemed real." She replied, attempting to cover up the hurt in her tone with cheerfulness.

 

"Alyce..." He took her arm, spinning her around to face him and kissing her fore-head. "I know I went too far. I'm sorry. I'm telling the truth when I say I love you and only you. You should know that, Alyce. Please..."

 

Alyce nodded faintly, still upset. "I just...even though you were acting...some of that stuff you said was really cruel. And hearing it again..."

 

'Again...'
Jake hugged her tightly, feeling depressed and guilty for hurting her so badly.
"I'm so sorry...soso sorry, Alyce."

 

Geryl went around the corner to see Alyce and Jake. Sorry to interrupt but has anyone seen Jasmine?

 

Alyce managed a fainty smile. "It's alright. Just remember if I'd known you'd really meant that, you'd probably be unconscious in the office by now." She looked over Jake's shoulder at Geryl. "Jasmine? I haven't seen her since I gave her ring back to her...why?"

 

Geryl held up Jasmine's ring. I found this and I caughet a scent that she disappeared from teh spot I found the ring.He said limping.

 

"Maybe we should split into two groups. I'll search the south part of campus." He turned heading down the hall.

BIC: Geryl nodded and limped down the hallway.

 

Alyce nodded and headed towards the basement. Maybe Jasmine was just down there looking for her ring or something...
