Boarding School

"...oh." Alyce shifted her feet, noticing he obviously didn't want to talk about it. "I didn't mean to pry into your business..."

 

Jake stroked her cheek with the tips of his fingers. "Don't worry about it."
He kissed her lightly.

 

Nami smiled weakly. She liked it when others were happy. "Say, how abot when Geryl gets back, we devise a plan?"

 

Alyce grinned. "That reminds me...I didn't give you your other present." She leaned over to him and gave him a kiss on the lips. Realizing Nami was still there, she pulled away and looked down at her feet blushing. "Sounds good to me..."

 

Jacob rubbed the back of his neck, the tips of his ears burning red. "Yeah..." He cleared his throat, pulling at his collar. "A plan."
ooc: I have to go.

 

Nami laughed. "It's ok. Pretty much everyone who sees you two knows!" Her face became serious again. "So, any bright ideas?"

 

Alyce waited until she was pretty sure her face wasn't red still before looking up. "Um..." She thought for a moment. "A bright enough light might get rid of it permanently..."

 

"Maybe..." Nami came up with an idea. "Get all of your flashlights, I'm going to make something!" She was actually very good with science, and makes new inventions all the time.

 

Jake made a face. "I don't own a flashlight" 'or anything else for that matter.' "...but i'll go check the school office over near the west side of campus."

 

Alyce rumaged through her bag for a minute, before handing Nami the flashlight Jasmine had given her. She decided to hold on to her old flashlight in case she'd need it later. "Good idea. The office probably has a bunch of stuff we could use."

 

ooc: I can't stay too long. Maybe a few minutes but ill b back latr.

Jake turned to Alyce, "Are you comming too?" He motioned his head towards the door.

 

OOC: Alrighty.

Alyce shrugged, but then nodded.. "Sure. "

 

OOC: What happened while I was gone.

 

Jake headed for the stairs, walking up the narrow steps with his eyes locked on every passing shadow warily.

 

Alyce followed, her flashlight still clutched lightly in her fist. She watched her feet occasionally, because knowing her, she'd trip up the stairs if she didn't watch where she was going.

 

Jake saw her watching her feet and smirked. "Two left feet?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

 

Alyce stuck her tongue out at him. "Oh shut up, Sleeping Beauty. You're not so graceful yourself."

 

Jake made a puppy dog pout at her, sticking out his bottum lip. "Aw...it's alright my little beatiful robot. You shouldn't feel bad about being clumsy." He smirked at her.

 

"Ah, so we're back to this whole robot phase, Biker Boy? I thought you were over that." Alyce replied as she narrowly missed tripping on one of the steps.

 

Jacob reached out a hand to steady her. "You're right. Maybe i should change your nickname to clutz." He winked to show he was just kidding at her.
