Boarding School

She saw Jake running down the hall. Then the shadow ran after him. "Look out!" Nami screamed, and the pain kept getting worse.

 

Geryl limped away from teh fountain and toward teh source of the sound. WHat's all teh ruckus?

 

Jake ducked, spinning and hitting the shadow with a fist. It didn't seem to do any damage. He rushed to Nami's side. "Nami! Are you okay? Come on, we have to go."

 

"Thanks..." Her headache was gone. Wait a second... the only reason he didn't kill us is-- she gasped. "Geryl! He's going to get killed!" Nami exclaimed. "Then me, then Alyce, then you..." she frowned. Nami hated the thought off losing all of her friends.

 

Geryl limped to see Nami. What's going on?

 

"OH NO HE WON'T!" Jake ran up next to Geryl. "Watch you'r back. The shadow is moving for a kill." Jake peared at him.

 

"The shadow came..." Nami sighed and said. "I feel so patetic. I'm always the one needeing help not able to fight back at him..." a tear dripped down. "I'm so sorry."

OOC: that kinda sounded gay...

 

ooc: lol...it did didnt it. HA! But hey, Maybe Shadows are gay these days. :poketoungeb:

 

Geryl then limped toward his dorm. I think I gotta get something.

 

Alyce stood up quickly when she heard a scream. "Nami..." She took off down the hall towards where she'd heard the scream.

OOC: Sorry I couldn't be here sooner; I was out dress shopping for Homecoming. ^^;

 

Jake saw Alyce arrive and sighed, rushing over to meet her. "Great to see you alive." He smiled weakly, remembering his conversation with Jasmine. "The shadow is back."

 

"And here I thought I scared it away with a flashlight..." Alyce muttered lightly. "Good to see you alive too."

 

Jake nodded. "We're gonna need a pretty big flashlight."

 

OOC: Mannnnn I G2G right now. I'll be back tomorrow but late and I'll be also be back at Sunday and I'm really busy now. Later!

 

OOC: That reminds me...I won't be here much tomorrow later in the day. That's when basically everything is happening for Homecoming...I'll be here in the morning and a little bit of the afternoon though. :P

"I have the one Jasmine gave me..." Alyce replied, grabbing the flashlight out of her bag. "Not sure what it can do, but knowing Jasmine, it probably works great." Gotta remember to thank her again for the flashlight...

 

Jake winced at Jasmine's name. "Keep it with you." He nodded. "All the time."
He looked around but the shadow seemed to have left already. "Hey...where you gonna show me something earlier?" He asked, raising his eyebrow.

 

Alyce smiled. "Oh yeah...I felt really bad about not getting you anything for your birthday." Reaching in her bag, she found a manilla folder and hestitantly passed it over to him. The picture inside the folder she'd drawn of him flashed in her mind again quickly. "It's nothing compared to a bike or anything, but..."

 

Jake took the folder, smileing and flipping it open. His jaw dropped. "Alyce this is...amazing." He looked up at her, smiling happily. "And I probably like it just as much as the bike."

 

Alyce smiled sheepishly. "I just drew it a little bit ago...right before you came by my dorm, actually."

Hesitantly, she asked, "Did I...do something wrong or something? You keep looking like you had something you didn't want to think about. You don't have to tell me..." she quickly added, feeling like she was prying into his business.

 

"I...had a talk with Jasmine earlier." He mumbled, looking down.
