Boarding School

Nami found herself alone, then went towards Alyce. "i need to know-- where's Geryl?" she asked her. 'I just... I just need to know..."

 

"Geryl?" Alyce thought for a moment. "He's probably back in his dorm. I don't know where his dorm is though.... sorry."

 

Naomi nodded, "i'm going to go look around..." she started walking away, humming a small tune.

 

"Oh..." then her face brightened up. "Well, he better be careful! Same with us," Nami's serious face came on again. "But we need to get Geryl and the others so we can escape." she thought for a minute, then said, "I have an idea..."

 

Clara heard noises from outside her dorm. She quickly bandaged up her arm and grabbed her bow and arrows. She found Alyce, Nami and Naomi talking. "I heard some noises, was it a shadow?"

 

"Yup...just a typical shadow attack..." Alcye told Clara. She looked over at Nami curiously, waiting to see what this idea of hers was.

 

Jake shifted a little, blinking and looking up at the ceiling.
"oh shoot. The others!" He jumped up, wipeing the dried blood off his temple as he did, rushing to find his friends.

 

Shoot...I knew I was forgetting something! "I'll be right back, guys." Alyce took off down the hall, but managed to skid to a stop just in time to avoid slamming into Jake.

 

Jasmine was in her room ruming to find something.
She coudnt stop crying.

 

Jake stumbled, catching himself before he fell as he looked up in surprise at Alyce.
"What's the rush?" He asked, righting himself.

 

"I was just going to get something from my room." Alyce replied, noticing that he'd been in a rush too, from the way he tripped and fell.

 

"So that means...the shadow...is it gone?" Jake walked with her towards her dorm.

 

Alyce shrugged. "For now at least. I scared it off with a flashlight of all things..."

 

Jake shook his head. "A flashlight..." He chuckled lightly. "Why didn't I think of that?"
He rubbed the last of the dry blood off his face as they stepped down the hallway.

 

Where the hell is it she yelled going through her stuff.

 

"It was just a really random thought I had...shadows are just darkness, and light tends to ward off darkness." Alyce smiled sheepishly.

 

Jake winked at her. "Well it was a really good random thought." He laughed again as they neared her room.

 

She ran out of her dorm and ran past Alyce and Jake and went to the Garrage.

 

Alyce grinned as she reached the door and went to open it, but stopped. "You have to wait here for a minute." She grinned and was about to open the door when she noticed Jasmine run past.

 

Jake spun as he saw Jasmine. "What..."
He reached out and grabbed her arm as she passed. "What's wrong?"
