Boarding School

Jasmine got out of her car.
She felt the wall.
"This wasnt here. Jack this wasnt here."

 

Alyce shook her head as she watched the two of them take off and ride against the wall. Wait, wall?

 

Jake turned the handle bars of his bike, having overshot where jasmine had stopped. His handle bars were stuck though. They wouldn't move. He stepped on the bar under his heal in an attempt to brake but nothing seemed to be working.
"Jasmine!" He called, tugging on his handlebars as he neared the end of the road.

 

She looked back.
She saw Jake with his handle bars stuck.
She ran to him.
"Come on Jake pull" she said pulling him.

Jake yanked the handle bars, seeing the wall grow in front of him. He jumped off his bike, skidding on the cement a few times before comming to a stop next to the WALL. His eyes widend as his bike crashed into a building, exploding in red flames.
He trmbled hard as the flames danced before his eyes. He would've been in that explosion a second ago.

 

Alyce had been watching the two ride along, but had frozen in shock when Jake didn't stop, and jumped off just as his bike went slamming into the wall and went up in flames.
Oh my god...

 

Are you okay Jasmine said holding him.

 

Jake saw Alyce watching them and pulled away a little. "Yeah im..." he was still staring at the remains of his bike. "I'm alright...I think." He started to get up, raising a hand at Alyce to tell her he wasn't hurt. "Well, escaping won't work." He said to Jasmine as he limped his way back towards the garage of the school where Alyce waited.

 

Come on let me help she said as she took his arm and helped him to the school.
Wow she thought and looked at him he is real cute. Jasmine looked away. No....No.

 

Alyce gave a sigh of relief when he raised a hand up, and waited until he and Jasmine walked over to the garage towards her before asking, "What happened to your bike? Did it jam or something?"

 

Jake winced. His bike had been the olny real posesion he owned. He frowned as he came up. "The shadow happend." He mumbled.

 

Alyce gave a dry smile. "How wonderful, eh? We're got a shadow watching us, and now it's actually trying to kill us."

 

Jasmine sat him down.
Then she walked away see the wall again.

 

"Yeah...just great..." Jake stared at the remains of his bike, picking a screw up from the ground and clenching it in his fist.

 

Alyce put a hand on his shoulder. "You really liked that bike, didn't you?"

She looked over at Jasmine. "Whatcha looking at?" she asked curiously, noticing that the other girl was looking intensely at the wall.

 

You know she said a little quietly and nervously.
"If you want to get out, theres another way" she said.
"But its complicated....real complicated".

 

"What do you mean?" Jake stood up, still holding the screw tightly till it bit into his palm.

 

This wall was made by the floor up she said.
But the weird thing it was made in the nick of time. Like that she said and snapped her fingers.

 

"There's a way out of this dump?" Alyce asked quickly. She
sighed.
"In the nick of time...you know, I hate to say it, but this shadow thing's pretty dang smart."

 

But Jasmine said and ties her hair in a ponytail.
Its not leval. Once more very smart is that he made it so complex that the wall didnt need to be Level. Jasmine frowned.
