God dammit I'm rusty as hell. Anyways, I got inspired for the first time in two or three months to make a tag, who knew Kingdom Hearts would do such a thing? lawl. I made four versions, but mainly because I'm bloody indecisive and couldn't decide whether or not I liked the text and border. Please excuse the gheyness. v1: v2: v3: v4: I suck at placement and text, there's no need to point that out.
You shouldn't have smudged his hair so much. It seems wrong. I do like the smudging and the noise added to it. I do think it's a bit plain, but my only gripe is the hair, and the text. You slapped the text on. Plus, it looks like you just smudged and blended like crazy and then called it a finished product. I know you can do much much better. But at least you got back to it.
Actually I quite like the smudged hair. Chalk it up to personal taste, I suppose. I do like the effects & general feel you've got going here, but it's lacking something. Text maybe, but what you've got going isn't working for me. Considering you haven't made anything in a while, though, this was definitely a good effort. :] Looking forward to seeing more from you.
^This my favourite out of those is probably v2. I personally am not a fan of smudging, thats the way I am, but i lke what you have going on here. Its a ligt source i think thats really lacking here. you have such an intense lighting on sora but not a lot on the tag. Also, sora seems a bit centred. move him over a bit, it'll help with text positioning =) I know its hard when you just et back into photoshop and you dont know exactly what to do. Lacking inspiration is not good. believe me, i just got into sig aking again after a month and its annoying. but it is a good effort for someone just getting back =) keep it up!
