Bloody Nightmare

Chuch~

Yuka pulled at Ceril's arm. "You mustn't go out there. If a werewolf has caught our scent....I'm sure...she means no harm...I suppose? Allow me to offer to you to stay here for the day. Daylight is approaching and soon the sun will be too bright to leave. I'll handle the wolf." Yuka poked her head out the door and closed it softly behind her. Leaving Ceril behind, in the Balmore Manor.

Spying Annie, Yuka folded her hands in front of her and bowed, "Welcome and hello, Ms. Lycanthrope. I'm terribly sorry to ask this of you, but would you mind leaving?"

 

Balmore Manor~~

Johanna followed Mirabelle to the guest bedroom, holding on tightly to Mimi. Sooner or later, she would wake up with a brand new look at this world. Johanna placed the small child on the bed, wrapping her up in the blanket. Seconds passed, and Johanna felt the air change around them. "Do you smell that," Johanna asked Mirabelle.

Ceril wasn't really excited about the idea of staying, but there was no use arguing with yuka. She took a seat on the couch waiting for her to return. it would be nice to get out of my minidress into something more apropriate, but whatever. At least I look hot.

Annie noticed the vampire walk out into the church from a back room. She put the earbuds back into her ears and turned to leave. She wasn't really in the mood for fighting vampires, so she didn't start anything. With a mumble whatever, she walked out of the church. When she finally returned home the sun was starting to peek over the horizon.

Serena woke hearing the front door and looked to see what time it was. great, she's going to be asleep all day and then super crabby this afternoon. she pulled the covers over her head and went back to sleep.

 

Balmore Manor~

Mirabelle sniffed and shrugged, "Yuka's downstairs. She's practically werewolves' best friends. It's gross...but, at least it works. Now...Mimi will have to stay with us for a while until she's adjusted to her new body..."

Church~

Yuka fled from the incoming sunlight into the Church and locked the door. "Thank you for staying. I can wake Master Seth if you want to talk to him. It's been a while since he's seen you. I'm sure he'd be happy to talk to you."

Ceril shook her head. "no it's fine. It can most certainly wait. No need to wake him. Purebloods need their sleep afterall." she sat quietly for a moment thinking. "i'm not entirely sure I want to hear the answer. No matter what the outcome, i'll both be disappointed and relieved. ceril unclipped the rose and put it in her hair. Red suited her. She used to be a firey vixen in high school. Everyone loved her red hair, and now she had red eyes to match. Something she wasn't proud of.

 

Balmore Manor~~

Johanna nodded in agreement about Mimi's arrangements. "Her family abandoned her a long time ago and I already filed a death certificate before leaving the hospital, so no one will be looking for her," Johanna informed Mirabelle. For once the entire night, she felt relieved, as if a large burden was released from her chest. "Please, contact me the moment she awakens."

 

Balmore Manor - Mimi's Room~

Mirabelle nodded, "Stay for the night, Johanna. It's not safe during the day. Once night falls, we'll escort you home immediately."

Balmore Manor - Foyer~

Yuka frowned, "I'm sure whatever it is...Seth wouldn't be horrid about it. Are you sure you're alright, Ceril?"

Ceril looked up at yuka, but her mind was elsewhere. "i've been...i've been thinking about going on a trip. To find the pureblood that turned me. I feel like a child trying to find the parent that gave it up when I think about it. I wanted to talk to master balmore about just how many purebloods were lost during the purge. When I...when I became this way, it was only a matter of a few weeks before it started. I need to know if searching would be a waste. The only ones I know of in america are master balmore and lady lorrietta. I was in dc at the time. If he's gone, for good, then I don't want to waste my time." she sighed and rested her head in her hand on the armrest. "do you think i'm being foolish?"

 

Balmore Manor~

Yuka smoothed her hand over Ceril's hair, "Absolutely not. But even if this person is still alive, what will you do once you find him?" Yuka couldn't fathom what she'd do if she met the Pureblood that turned her. She knew perfectly well what Mirabelle would do. Even if it meant the end of Mirabelle's eternal life, she would tear the man apart. It was a good thing Cooke was turned by Seth, so she wouldn't feel the pain of not knowing the Pureblood who's fangs pierced their necks.

 

Luin~

It was becomming ever more obvious that Keel wasn't coming back any time, so Allen decided to find another way to deliver the invitaion to him. So he started whistling and waited for his bird to show up. Once it did, he attact the invitation to his leg and told him to fly to Keel. Once the bird left, he found someplace to sit and decided to wait for a while.


Road to Church~

"Well I guess we should do something now, besides." Keel said before a bird with a light blue ribbon around it left leg landed on his shoulder. He took the note attached to it and read it. "Looks like I have a way in."

Ceril thought for a moment. She really had no clue. "i really don't know. I mostly just want to know why. See if he even rememvers me. The girl he hit with a car, infected, and then abandoned. Why I couldn't just die like a normal person? I jusy want my questions answered. I know what the punishment is for killing a pureblood, and I don't want to die until i've lived out a full human life. I am only 49 afterall. Almost fifty." she let out a small sigh as she looked up at yuka. "it's just so hard not knowing."

Mark strode back toward the group on the road, his hands fastening a sword belt around his waist, the sturdy leather scabbard of his sword blade on his left side. A simple, leather-wrapped hilt extended from the scabbard, in a position so that he could easily grab and draw the three-foot long iron blade. The hilt was made of a dark colored metal, with a leather wrapping around the grip to prevent slipping. The crossguard was at an eighty degree angle to the blade, also made of the same dark-colored metal.

Mark finished fastening his sword belt and strode up to Keel and the others, "alright, I'm ready," he said, eyeing the bird that had delivered something to Keel, "what was that?" he asked. ​

Annie crawled into bed as the sun started peaking through her window. She thought about how she and serena needed to go find jobs, but it was just so hard when they always had to leave. She knew vickie wanted to go to school, but it wasn't safe. Especially not here. Annie didn't know what to do, other than close her eyes and go to sleep finally.

 

Balmore Manor~

Yuka gently touched Ceril's arm, "Come. We'll sort this out in the night time. It's time for us, non-Pureblood Vampires to get in some good relaxation time. I'm afraid I'll be scrubbing the floors again." She sighed happily as she thought about it.

Balmore Manor - Seth's Room~
Seth opened his eyes, squinting against the sunlight streaming into the room. He rolled over and felt something buzz against his thigh. Pulling his phone out of his pocket. Groaning at the glow of the light from the screen, he tapped the green button and set it against his ear and nosed his way into Rin's hair. "What do you want now, Lorrietta? Hm?" His eyes opened and he sat straight up, "Escaped!?" Lowering his voice, Seth growled into the phone, "What do you mean he escaped? I know the meaning of the word escape! How? That's...actually quite possible... Dammit, I asked them to keep an eye on him and not provoke him. This is why you don't leave a Vampire's job to humans."

Road to Church~

Suzaku and Nina rubbed their eyes. "I'm tired...we'll do this at night tomorrow. We'll just...y'know...do what you want. If you get killed, it's not on my watch."

ceril rolled her eyes, but with a smile on her face as she stood. "you always were a strange one. Pleasure from cleaning? Who would have thought." she followed after yuka.

Balmore Manor Seth's Room~~

When she heard Seth shouting, that was Rin felt that it was time to wake up. She was glad that the two of them were together for the night and that he had some trust in her. She felt worried about Seth though. She didn't like the tone that he was taking. The last thing she wanted for Seth was to be upset so early in the day. Trying to calm him down, she gently rubbed his back.

Mimi's Room~~

"I'm going to be a bit late, I'm sorry," Johanna spoke into the reciever of her cell. She hung up her phone, slightly stressed out. Johanna could hardly believe that she took up the offer of staying here. She felt very much out of place. In the darkness of the room, she held Mimi as if she were a baby.

 

Balmore Manor - Seth's room~

Seth shut his phone and rubbed his eyes. "This isn't happening...this isn't happening...no, no, no, no, no, no...." Seth yawned from the daytime hour and glanced down at Rin. "Did I wake you? I'm sorry. Rin...is there any special reason why you're sleeping without clothes?" Slipping his hand under the covers, Seth trailed his still warm fingers down Rin's spine and following her leg until he stopped and curved his palm around the back of her knee. "You wouldn't happen to be trying to grow up too quickly, would you?"

Yuka flung open her proud closet of cleaning supplies and smiled as she gripped the Swiffer Wet Jet in her hands gently. "Eternal life is good when they come up with new things to clean with. Oh, your rooms are down the hall on the left. Your rooms are closest to that little girl Mimi and Johanna who's staying the morning."

Balmore Manor - Mimi's room~

Mirabelle liked the windowless rooms and had given Mimi one especially for this cause. She watched Johanna and Mimi carefully, "You're fond of the child...and this doesn't help that she will never grow to be like you. For all we know, once she tastes human blood, she will crave it like any other and become a monster."

 

Balmore Manor Seth's Room~~

Rin let out a small giggle. She had barely realized that she was barely wearing anything. It at least explained to her why she was much colder than usual. Her body was filled with goosebumps when she felt Seth touching her body. Her entire body stood at attention. "But I am grown up," Rin told him in a matter-of-fact kind of voice.

Balmore Manor Mimi's Room~~

Johanna let out a sigh. Of course she knew of those risks when she brought her here. She just didn't want to see this sweet little girl die. "And for all we know, she could just be just a playful little girl for the rest of her existence. We never know what's going to happen."

Ceril's eyebrow looked like it was about to jump off her forehead it was up so high. "i see, you only wanted me to stay so you had an extra hand cleaning. It all makes sense now. You were just trying to trap me." she joked as she reached forward for the cleaning supplies. "i couldn't possibly clean in my minidress..."

 

Balmore Manor - Seth's room~

Seth lowered his eyelids and removed his hand from her leg to her stomach. "Are you so sure you're a grown up?" He slid his fingers lower and past her underwear. His face completely serious, "A grown woman in my bed understands she leaves with nothhing. Would you want to leave with everything? Or with nothing at all?"

Balmore Manor - Foyer~

Yuka chuckled as she slid the Swiffer across the floor, scrubbing at the trails of blood.

Balmore Manor - Mimi's room~

Mirabelle fell silent. She truly didn't want to be here when the child woke, but she'd need to be. Lithly, she slid across the room and sat on the edge of the bed and wrapped gauze around the child's neck. Though Seth's blood would heal her wounds soon enough, she was bleeding freely on the sheets.
