Bloody Nightmare

Balmore Manor

Rin was confused. She had every reason to not trust the person she saw in front of her. However, she had only known this Seth Balmore, and he seemed genuine in the words that were said to her. "I won't leave," Rin finally said to Seth, "but, please tell me, who are you?"

Serena's blond locks shook vigorously as her head moved back and forth. "you misunderstand. I merely want to test a theory. I don't really care for that pompous idiot. Men that clearly rely on their physical strength to get them through life are horrible. I just...clearly need to push your friend a bit. Even if what you say is true, ikuto seemed to be trying awfully hard to keep whatever may have been going on between us nonexistant. I need to test the waters, and apparently go at it with a different approach." she popped a grape in her and batted her eyelashes at him. "plus, I did ask you what your new alpha was like before they all arrived, did I not? You didn't really answer the question and if you wish for my family to join your pack, i'll need to get to know everyone on a more personal level."

Ceril was confused all right. There was something serious going on and now apparently seth balmore wasn't actually the real seth balmore. Not to mention, her red hair became a dishevelled mess standing up on all ends. She ran her pale fingers through it as she moved to valentine's side. "what do you mean, 'it's not him?' If it's not the real master balmore we should go find him, or at least see what's going on. It's got to be pretty serious if even I felt it. I bet everyone is just as confused as we." ceril leaned against the wall, studying her husband's face for any kind of answers.

 

Balmore Manor

Seth sat beside Rin, tucking a lock of her hair behind her ear. "That...is a secret. I cannot tell even you, my precious one. But...I have grown rather fond of the name Seth. I would like it, very much if you continued to call me that."
Suzaku tosses aside his empty gun and dragged himself across the floor towards his knife. Seth's eyes followed him the entire way, "Honestly, do you think a blade will kill me if your bullets did not?" he tsked him and the bullets slowly wormed their way out of Seth's back. "You've ruined my best shirt...and you've frightened Rin. Not to mention forcing me to kill another Pureblood when there are so little of them in the world as is. But...it was only a Balmore...nothing to fear."

Cabin

Nick shook his head, "Women...so troublesome. I'll never understand what goes on in your head. If that's the way you want it...Rosh deals only in strength and physical prowess. He's more of a domineering bull than a wolf. I'm just afraid...he'd try to take you by force, Serena."

Valentine looked at her mournfully and back to the fading sunlight, "We'll be able to leave soon."

Serena had to restrain her laughter. nick was genuinely scared for her, as she should be. No one took control over her. Serena wouldn't allow it. It was one of the few traits she shared with her sister. "i can handle myself. No one, and I mean no one," she tapped her finger on his nose, "takes control over me. I may be small, but I have quite a lot of power." that power, it was something special. Something even her twin did not know about. If rosh tried to pull anything, he would be done for.

Ceril sighed, nodding her head slowly. She wanted to leave immediately, but knew the risks were far too great. He was already worrying about enough. No need to give valentine more stress by getting scortched beyond repair. She meekly said, okay," and moved back over to the bed, watching the sun through the crack. Ceril would give her whole life to see the sun again. Watching the distorted shadow of the sun, through forest trees in a crack in the wall, just wasn't the same thing.

Nick sighed, "Alright...I'm glad you understand the situation. At least now I can mind my own buisness." He stepped backwards and finally turned and left Serena to herself. Returning to Annie, he shook himself like a dog to dispel the anxious feeling surrounding him. "So, you wanna go on that date tonight or am I too early?"

 

Balmore Manor

Rin wanted to stay with Seth, more than anything. A part of her was confused though.

"I'll stay, as long as I'm wanted," Rin stammered, feeling shaky. She had been feeling a bit sick and a little bit faint.

Seth ceased his taunting and looked down at Rin. "I would like you to stay." He took a lock of her hair between his fingers and breathed in her scent. HIs normally blue eyes, despite the fading scarlet of his hunger, turned bright yellow. "You were with that little girl...that...Lucy girl. Child of Seth Balmore...and that woman...that...filthy woman. What was her name again?" He snapped his fingers repetitively until he gave up.

Suzaku grabbed up his knife and kept going towards the door. "I have to get out...there's no way I can kill this guy...not like this..."

 

Balmore Manor~~

Rin thought back to Being a prisoner at the mayors house for that small while. She despised her for forcing her away from the manor, but was slightly able to sympathize. Rin understood that she belonged with Seth now.

"They won't harm us again," Rin said, remembering what Lucy had told her.

 

Balmore Manor

His eyes turned back to their normal blue, "Of course they won't," he smiled serenely down at her. He watched Suzaku crawl away for a while until he suddenly grinned, relieved, "I remember her name now...Lirum...that's right. The human woman, Lirum, that dear old Seth Balmore fell in love with. They had a little baby girl... She'd be a Balmore too...last of the lineage, wouldn't you say Rin? Tell me, sweetie...tell me where she is now."

 

Balmore Manor~~

Rin was feeling a bit out of it. It could have been from exhaustion, but she feel back onto the stairs, but leveled herself to sit down properly. "She's at the mayor's house," Rin told him, flatly. "She let me go though."

Standing, Seth stepped over Suzaku and towards the door. Stopping, he stepped hard on Suzaku's ankle until it made a crunching noise. "I completely forgot about you. Can't leave you here with my Rin, can I? No...you might hurt her. After all...she's just a human girl." Suzaku gasped for air, keeping what would've been the most pained scream he'd emitted today down. His eyes caught on Rin, pleading with her silently and flicking to his dead partner.

 

Luin~

Keel had managed to get back into Luin after leaving the Church. Great, What a I supposed to do now? He couldn't head back to the church, not that he could do anything to help. H was given multiple chances to pull the trigger, but he couldn't even do that. I just hopr Suzaku manages to get out. He thought as he continued to walk through the town.

Annie smirked at Nick. It didn't look as if things went well in the kitchen. Oh well, it worked out for her. Nick wanted to leave today. Maybe he would want to tomorrow as well. "sure. I guess we could do it today. Just give me a minute to get changed." Annie took off towards her bedroom, throwing the door open in a panic. How long had it been since her last real date? Not since before her parents died at least. Meeting people while she's already out with her twin was not the same thing. Suddenly nothing seemed good enough. "do you need help in here? I can here you throwing stuff around in my room." she glared at serena as she walked into the closet and quickly pulled out a few things. Annie stared down at the clothes serena set on her bed. There was a pair of blue jeans, a pair of black heels, and a dark sequiny tank-top. Annie eyed the top suspiciously. "gross. I didn't even know i owned this." serena rolled her eyes and swatted Annie's shoulder. "just get dressed. I'll braid that mop of yours. You don't want to keep Nick waiting."

 

Balmore Manor~~

Rin looked into the eyes of the strange man. She recognized the eyes; the ones filled with true terror. She wore them only a while ago, being kept away for reasons she didn't fully understand. Using a chunk of her draining energy, Rin stood up and grabbed onto Seth, holding onto his arm.

"Seth, please, no more," Rin moaned lowly, "I don't want anyone else to die when I have my reunion with you. Please?"
