Bloody Nightmare

Serena held utau closer to her body. She wrapped an arm around the little girl as ikuto came barging in. he scolded sammy and began cleaning up richard. "everyone seems like they'll be okay, but we can't have fighting." she let go of vickie who was clinging onto her and grabbed sammy lightly. She turned the little girl so they would be facing each other. Serena leaned down to whisper in her ear so ikuto wouldn't hear. "i'm proud of you, defending your friends. You remind me of my sister annie, but let's try not to fight so much." she sat up straight, still smiling, and pried the children off her body. "why don't we deal with this after lunch. Vickie go take everyone to get washed up, because the food is ready." she shoved vickie out the doors, tears still in her eyes, and began picking up the toys.

Annie rolled her eyes and winced. "we've already become acquaintences. That kinda happened when the lot of you walked through the door. And what exactly did nick say about me to your alpha?" she mumbled a couple angry insults and then flashed her brown eyes back to jack.

Ceril sighed and smiled down at him. She rubbed her thumb across his cheek and sat back down. "valentine, no one is dying. Understood? Everything will work out and we'll be together for a very long time." she gave him a kiss and then rested her her on his chest.

 

cabin

Sammy kept her expression solom as she followed Vickie outside, grabbing and dragging Utau with her. Richard started to cry, adding to the mess on his face that Ikuto was trying to clean. "Lo siento, Ikuto!" The corner of Ikuto's mouth turned up, "Gracias, Richard, but you don't need to apologize. This is a very hard time for you and Utau. A new home...being away from your friends. Do your best to get along now, alright? Sometimes...we must adapt to new situations."

Jack smiled, sitting back on his haunches, much like a dog, and gave back Annie's hand, "He said you were ferocious, stubborn and surprising. I can see what he meant now."

treehouse

Valentine rolled her off him and held himself over her, "It'd be foolhardy of me to believe no one would die."

Serena smiled and set a hand on ikuto's shoulder. "he's right. This'll just take time for everyone to adjust to. You should go wash up as well." she held the door open for richard and gestured for him to exit.

Annie pulled her hand back closely to her body and glared at jack. [color="that doesn't sound like much of a compliment."[/color] she made a mental note to get back at nick for that.

Ceril gazed up at valentine. the look on her face reflected sadness. He was a very pessimistic vampire. [color="purple"]"that doesn't mean anyone important will."[/color] she tugged on his frame to come closer.

 

cabin

Richard fled through the door and Ikuto stood, sighing, "I pray he learns. Oh...forgive me for coming in like that...I just heard what Vickie said..." Ikuto rubbed the back of his head and kept his tricolored eyes on the floor, "Thank you for hosting us for the day."

Jack's eyes widened in suprise, "Oh, really? Seemed like it to me..."

treehouse

Valentine rested his forehead on hers, golden eyes boring holes into her, "No one important.... Never seeing all the possibilities means someone important will die. I might die...and I'm fine with that. I have no regrets."

Serena smiled and set a gently hand on ikuto's arm. "it's quite all right. I enjoy the help and the company. Unlike my twin, i'm actually quite pleasant to be around. I enjoy entertaining. she grabbed the doorknob and pulled the door open wide. "i should probably go pull the ribs out of the oven. Don't want them to overcook." she waved goodbye, leavimg ikuto in vickie's room alone.
annie glared at jack. "how is that complimentary? Ferocious, stubborn, and surprising? Nothing about that sounds in th the least bit nice." she stood, dusted the dirt off her shorts and turned away from the pack boy. As long as her home was occupied by them, she wouldn't go inside. Annie shoved her hands in her pocket and started walking. She refused to have anything to do with them.

Ceril turned her head away. He was ruining her high spirits again. "oh valentine, why must you be so melodramatic. Things will work out. I'll get better, the hunters will deal with the infestation, and we'll all go about our business as usual. Did you want to try speaking with your brother again? We can go once the sun begins to set." her smile had returned as quickly as it disappeared. Ceril gave him a kiss and pulled his body down on top of hers.

 

Cabin

Ikuto stared after Serena and cracked a small smile. "I must be tired...for a second there I thought...I was developing feelings for her. Must be jet lag." Nodding to himself he followed after her and found the children back from washing up. Richard and Utau clung to his legs again and Sammy walked with Vickie.

Jack waved goodbye to her and called after her, "At least he told the truth! Nick could've lied to us to get a lot more wolves to come, but he told the truth! And...if someone called me ferocious and surprising...or even stubborn, I'd be happy to hear it. It's better than being called no good...damaged goods...and predictable."

treehouse

Kissing her, Valentine started to laugh against her lips, "Melodramatic, huh? And here I thought the joke was plain funny. Perhaps you're right, Ceril. But for now...I live for the moment."

Serena walked in the kitchen smiling and slipped on a pair of oven mits. She pulled the large pan out with ribs on it and carried it to the table. "lunch is ready everyone." she pulled the mits off her hands and turned off the oven. The table was set and the only thing missing was annie. Serena shook her head and peaked out the window. She was arguing with someone, probably one of the pack members. She sighed and walked outside.
Annie turned around sneering. "you think I want more of you here? 'cause I don't! I don't even want to be here! This town is crawling with vampires and is now full of werewolves too. It's not safe here!" she appeared to be seething and her expression snapped as she saw serena walk outside. looks like i'm being fetched. annie turned away again, hearing serena's footsteps approach them. "excuse me, but may I have a moment alone with my sister?" she set a comforting hand on jack's shoulder and flashed him a smile.

Ceril brushed her lips against his. "you really are a fool." she wrapped her body within his and held onto valentine tightly. He had a lot to learn about relationships. Valentine seemed to be rather inexperienced with them.

 

cabin

Practically everyone wiped away their drool and set on the ribs. Ikuto watched Serena leave and noticed Jack. His stance was familiar...
Jack turned teary eyes to Serena, "She's scary!" it was comical since he wasn't seriously upset. Ikuto poked his head out the door, "Jack, inside, now! Lunch is starting without you!" Forgetting his tears, Jack turned and ran back to the house.

Serena shook her head. Jack, as ikuto called him, was quite right. Annie was scary, but only to outsiders. To serena, she was just childish. "are you ready to act your age? Honestly, you throw bigger tantrums than our soon-to-be 8-year-old sister. Taking out your frustrations on these nice people is going to change anything." annie continued to stand there menacingly until serena grabbed her by the ear and started pulling. "ow! Dammit serena! Fine!" she sneered and started marching towards the door. Serena followed after, a satisfactory smile in place on her face.

 

Church

Keel stood at the door for a few seconds after knocking before turning to Nina. "Seems like nobodies home, shall we try a forceful entry?" He asked.

Luin

After looking around Luin, searching for his friend, Jayden decided to change his plan of action. Considering all the rumors going on here there just might be one place that he's at. If he's not there then I got nothing. He thought as he headed for the Chruch.

Woods

Resting atop one of the tree, Zeke was lying back relaxing as he enjoyed an apple he'd gotten from a nearby tree. He didn't feel like leaving the tree any time soon so he just continued to enjoy his apple. Maybe I'll leave when I've finished this apple here. He thought as he took another bite into the apple.

 

cabin

Ikuto watched everyone eat, including the young children. Beside him stood Nick who ate while standing. "Ya sure you don't want any? Have you eaten anything all day?" Ikuto sighed, "I'll be fine. I'll eat later. If I ate now...there would be no food to assure that Annie and Serena ate and the children did...and...Rosh. You know his appetite is unusual when he moves. Our Alpha here...must be the picture of perfect health. Plus...I'm on a fast for the next few days..." Nick lifted an eyebrow, "Ah...you killed a person last full moon...huh? Ikuto...you have to stop blaming yourself for that and starving yourself." Ikuto shot him a cold glare, "I don't like that you have the same argument as my wolf. I will treat this how I feel it needs to be treated. I'm not going to reward my wolf for killing a person."

Church

Nina shrugged, "Might as well..." Turning on her heel, Nina landed a solid kick on the church doors. When they only budged a little she growled low in her throat and shut her eyes, setting her palm against the doors. "Do not look at me like I'm a freak..." On her exhale, the door slid into tiny shards of wood as if it had been sliced into pieces by invisible swords in a matter of seconds. "Shall we?"

 

Church

Keel stood there for a second amazed by what he just saw. "Right." He replied as he headed into the church. Once he was inside, he could see why the vampire held their parties here. "So this is what the inside looks like." He said to himself.

Woods

Finishing the apple he was eating Zeke hopped down from the tree he was on and landed on the ground below. Moving a hand to his chin he thought. Now where did I get this apple from. Shrugging his shoulder he headed off in a random direction with hopes that it would lead to a apple tree.

Serena opened the door and frowned down at the pack eating. She crossed her arms and shook her head at them all. "well now, do they not teach manners across the ocean? Last time I checked, guests weren't supposed to start eating without their hosts. Nicholas, did we not discuss table etiquette yesterday?" she cocked an eyebrow and stared down at them all menacingly. Annie stood behind her, still grumpy from before. Her hand didn't hurt anymore, but it still didn't change her attitude. There was an unpleasant aura about her as annie moved away from the door. She moved beside nick and smiled sheepishly. he, along with the rest of them, was being scolded by the nice twin. It made annie feel odd watching her sister scold a whole group of people.

Ceril continued to smile at valentine in a daze. She twirled her fingers in the ends of his hair. "you didn't answer my question dear. Do you want to try speaking with master balmore again?"

 

cabin

Nick paused in chewing and lowered his head as Serena scolded them. Ikuto, who hadn't even taken a plate still, nodded his head slowly, "Forgive us...my comrades have little manners when it comes to visiting. In Romania...most of us lived in the same house, waiting for our Alpha and his mate to eat before us became tradition that faded away. Our manners...is as our knowledge of the world outside our own pack is very limited." Nick swallowed, "Don't be so mad Serena...they lived in isolation before...visiting other people's homes simply didn't happen. They visited those in the pack and very few had their own homes. Think of them like children...they just need to be taught what proper manners are again."

Valentine shut his eyes for a moment, "There is no harm in trying again. But the sunlight...we'll have to wait for a while."

Church

Nina cautiously stepped inside the Church. It looked like a normal church, hard to imagine that Vampires lived here. But yet again...all the crosses were missing and anything holy had been removed. "Be careful...this...is only the outside of their home...there must be a door around here that leads into the manor that Balmore lives in..."

serena sighed and flipped her hair long blond hair over her shoulder. "as long as everyone liked it I guess." she wandered into the kitchen to begin washing the dishes. She had enough to eat for breakfast that there wasn't much of an appetite. Getting used to all these extra wolves would take some work. It had been a long time since either of them had been with a pack. Serena zoned out on the sink water, thinking of her parents. momma, papa, are you proud?
Annie nudged nick's side and pointed to the hallway. "can we talk?" she moved away from the group and leaned against the hallway wall.

"of course dear, of course." ceril smiled and closed her eyes, resting her head on the pullow.

 

cabin

Ikuto watched her leave and helped clear the table while everyone was supposed to be filing back to the cars to head to their new homes.

Nick followed Annie, handing his plate off to Ikuto, "What's up?"

Annie shifted nervously under his gaze and stared down at her feet. "i...uh...i'm sorry. Again...apparently my behavior is frowned upon. And...and..." she glanced up at nick, blushing. He was so much older and clearly more mature. It made her feel insignificant. "and I hope you still want to go on that date, because I do. I understand if you wouldn't though, i'm not exactly nice." she sighed and directed her gaze elsewhere.

 

cabin

Nick broke into a smile, "Is that what you're worried about? Ah, don't do that to me...here I thought you wanted me to go die in a hole. Of course I still wanna go on that date. I told you...I don't give up easily on something I want." Had he told her that? Or maybe that was a dream...well...not like it mattered now. He sagged against the wall, relief evident on his face, "I really thought you were gonna tell me to screw off or something... You don't have to be nice to others...you're nice enough with me." Nick breathed easier after hearing her words and looked fondly back towards the pack. "Even if you don't like the idea of being apart of the pack...or even like them...you should get to know them one by one. Start with the kids...they're easy. Skip Rosh...I'll tell you now he's worse than I am...nothing more than a giant walking ego."

Annie smirked and laughed a quiet chuckle. "sounds like we have something in common. As for the children...i'm not great with kids, even with vickie. She and serena are far closer." she sighed and leaned her head against his arm. Nick hadn't said anything to her about giving up. Had he been talking to serena in private. Something about that really bothered annie. "i...i just don't have fond memories of pack life. It's been so long. The only real contact we've had with others like us in the last five years is with our relatives. We do nba n't even see them. Just a phone call from to time so they know we're still alive." annie jumped internally at the idea of how much she shared with nick. It was more than she had disclosed in a long time.

 

Church

"Right." Keel replied as he started to look around. If they were looking for secret entrance then maybe one of the object in the church would open it.
