Bloody Nightmare

Nick sighed, waving off her words, "It doesn't matter. As long as you give them a shot. They're good people, Annie..." Leaving Annie Nick ran into Rosh in the hallway. "Having trouble with the ladies, Nick?" Scowling at him, Nick shouldered his way past, "Coming in a little uninvited?" he responded, ignoring Rosh's question. "Not in the slightest. Your friend, the she-wolf, said we could come inside."

Ikuto stared at her for a while, his thoughts a jumbled mess of compliments and desires. Shaking his head, he took the band-aid, "It would be my pleasure to teach you and learn a thing or two. Now...if you'll excuse me...Utau's mother thinks she's bleeding to death..." He left in a hurry to return to the teary eyed Utau and her mother. "Here, here Utau... This'll fix you up nicely." Applying it, he smiled for once, gently for Utau and the little girl brightened considerably.

Road to the Church

Nina frowned at her shoes, "A plan... The only plan I've ever had was Suzaku's..and that was to kill the Pureblood Balmore before he could kill us. He remains our target."

Wow, Suzaku really wanted that vampire dead then. Keel thought. While he did gave some doubts about that plan, it was the best thing they had at the moment. As he continued walking along the path, he soon had the huge mansion in his sights. "Well, here we are."

Annie sighed, fixed her hair, and then fully opened the door. She saw nick standing there talking to someone. Annie walked up to them and forced a smile. "nick be nice. He is a guest after all." teasing him seemed like the only way to deal with having a very full house of werewolves.
Serena smiled and watched ikuto leave the bathroom. cute. Maybe it's time to meet everyone else. she walked out of the bathroom, in the direction of the kitchen. "i hope everyone's hungry." she walked into the kitchen to check on the large rack of ribs and the steaks. The overnight marinading was really bringing out the flavor. The smell actually made her mouth water a little bit. Serena opened the refrigerator, checking to see if the pasta salad had cooled and pulled out a bunch of potatoes.
Vickie jumped on her bed to reach one of the lego creations on a shelf above it. "do you like them sammy?" she held out the board containing a little lego church and people standing outside of it.

Nick pouted, "So? Does that give him the right to be rude?" Rosh scoffed, shoving Nick into the wall, "Wuss...letting a she-wolf stand up for you? I would've thought your worthless father taught you to fight your own battles no matter how small." A snarl tore through Nick and he threw a punch at his face, "Why you..." Throwin a punch at Rosh was a bad idea. Leaning to the side, Rosh grabbed his arm and twisted it behind his head. Kicking his legs out from under him, Nick fell to the ground with Rosh's knee planted in his back. "This is why Alpha made me Alpha of this new pack and not you. You're not Beta...your not even Gamma...Jack is and we all know Jack couldn't win a fight if his life depended on it." Struggling, Nick grunted, "I will not fight Jack... I will not take his position from him. Jack works hard...he's a good boy."

Rose, Miguel, Jane and Jerry sat around the table commenting on how good the food smelt. Richard and Utau clung to Ikuto as he struggled into the kitchen with the two on his legs. "I'm sorry to be a bother, Serena, but do you have any anti-child spray? I seem to have two leeches attatched to me."

Church

Nina ground her shoes into the grass, "Yes...let's go. Seth Balmore's immortal life...ends here."

Keel gave Nina a quick nod before moving to the door. Once he was he front of it, he quickly checked his gun to make sure that it was prepared before knocking on the door.

As annie watched rosh beat up nick, rage flickered across her face. She wouldn't tolerate fighting of this nature in her home and not among them. She grabbed rosh by the shoulders and pulled him off of nick. "that's enough! You may be the new alpha of your clan, but you aren't anything in my home. I'm in charge here and the frivolous fighting over nothing will not be tolerated. If either of you really want my sisters and I to join your pack, then you're going to have to try a little harder. Fighting in my home only proves that packs are nothing but trouble." she walked away from them, shaking her head. They were all wasting their time by being in her home. She would never join them.
Serena thanked everyone on their compliments and started cutting the potatoes. When ikuto came walking in with two of the children atyached to his legs, she couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. "i might have something to help with that. Give me just a minute." she wiped her hands on a towel and ruffled utau's hair. "why don't the two of you come with me to vickie's room? I think her and sammy are playing together in there right now and I know for sure that she'd love to make some more friends." serena pried their little hands off ikuto's legs and dragged them along in the direction of vickie's room. "you two are going to love vickie. She's a peach."

Nick stood, glaring at Rosh, "Thanks...you couldn't be just a little less of you for one day?" Rosh snorted and left, pushing past a hiding Jack. "J-Jack...what are you...doing hiding there?" He looked about ready to cry and twisted his hands in his shirt, "N-nothing...I'm sorry...um, ah...thank you Nick...for...not taking my job from me..." Nick sighed, pulling the younger man close and hugging him, "It's fine. You know me, brother..."

Ikuto waved to the children as they protested along the way to Vickie's room. "Lemme go! Por favor, senorita!"

Annie stormed passed serena and the children without saying a word. The house was loud and full of voices, but she ignored everyone. Annie walked straight to the front door, ripped it open, and then slammed it shut loudly. Serena sighed at the sound of the door. Annie would never learn. she picked up the protesting children and smiled at them. "why would you want to hang out with the adults? You two should play with the other children. I promise you'll have fun and lunch is almost ready so you can eat soon." she pushed open vickie's room and dumped richard and utau inside. Vickie jumped off of her bed, smiling. "hi! I'm vickie. Who are you?" she started poking and prodding the two of the as serena walked out chuckling.

ceril sat up and scruntched her nose. There was a foul odor coming from outside her home and could only be identified as one thing. "do you smell that? There's more of them. A lot more." her expression grew grim. Things were going to become troublesome around here with so many werewolves.

Nick lowered his head to his chest and Rosh turned away without another word to join his packmates. Annie...

Richard and Utau stood wide-eyed at Vickie. Sammy pulled on her shoulder, "Ah it's only Utau and Richard. They're no fun. Utau doesn't speak...and Richard mostly speaks in Spanish or nothing at all."

Valentine pulled Ceril back down onto his chest and stroked her back, "I smell them...and the more of them means the more Lycan Hunters... But if we stay out of their way...they won't find us. Lycan Hunters can't tell the differece between human and Vampire. It's only the mutts they're after. Why should we worry ourselves?"

Annie stood outside on the stoop angrily. She threw her fist at a nearby tree and heard a loud crack. The tree looked fine, but her hand was mishapen. "son of a *****!" annie held her wrist tightly and bit down on her lip so hard that she drew blood. "goddammit!" all of her previous anger was now pushed back behind the pain.

Serena re-entered the kitchen smiling. Her older sister was being childish, but she wouldn't let that dampen the mood. "i hope nobody started nibbling while I was gone." she walked over to the stove and opened the oven. The smell of marinated meat filled the kitchen and she could just picture them all licking their chops behind her back. Serena shut the door and glanced up at the clock. "i'd say about ten minutes." she pulled out the mixer and began to mash the potatoes.

Vickie frowned and sat back down on the bed. "that's no fun. You should talk." she pointed to utau and then to richard, "and you should learn english. then we can all understand each other."

Ceril rested her head back onto valentine's chest. "if you say so." she wasn't as at ease as he, but her knowledge on lycan hunters was limited. Either way, a pack of werewolves in luin would really shake things up.

Rosh patted Jane's shoulder, "Why don't you help her out? We may be guests...but this will be our home from now on and Serena and her family will be our family." Jane looked stricken as if he'd suggested she eat a bucket of nails but Rosa stood, smoothed her skirt. "I'll help. We didn't study their language for months just to sit around as guests every day." She took the mixer from Serena, taking over the job of mashing the potatos.

Jack flung himself out the door after Annie, tripping over the last step and falling flat on his face. "Ow...ow...ow...ow...when did the ground get so hard? Oh, Miss Annie...um...I'm Jack. I-I thought I should come after you...um... You're hurt..." Pushing himself up, he hesitated around Annie.

Sammy laughed, "Oh that's rich. The problem is...Richard is too young to learn english..but he knows some and Utau...she's..." Richard pointed at Vickie, "This...chica...doesn't know what she's talking about! You....don't know anything about Utau. Utau's familia is dead because of those stupid Lycan Hunters! Utau...hasn't said a word since then...and you simply demand she speak just like that?! No! It's wrong! Utau..." Utau tugged on his sleeve several times until he turned to her in his childish fury, "Que?!" She shook her head and shuffled over to Vickie, clinging to her.

Valentine stared at the ceiling, "Ceril...hypothetically, if I told you to leave town...would you heed my words?"

Serena smiled at rose and left her with the bowl. "i appreciate the help and might I add, you english is wonderful. I can tell you all practiced hard." she opened the refrigerator and pulled out the large bowl of tuna salad. Serena carried it to the dining room and set it on the table. She pulled the table apart to make it longer and began setting the table.
Annie's eyes were murderous as she looked at jack. "i'm fine. Just go back inside." she glared at him, seething. Annie started walking away from the house, still gripping her wrist tightly.
Vickie smiled at utau sadly. She could relate after all. "my parents died too. Annie and serena always told me it was a hunting accident, at least until a couple days ago." she stroked utau's hair and looked over to richard. "they were killed by vampire hunters when I was little. I don't really remember them. Just what annie and serena tell me and the photos. That's all." she sat down on the bed, tears in her eyes. Utau was clinging to her, but she didn't care.

Ceril cocked an eyebrow and leaned on her elbow. "depends. In your scenario, are you coming with me?" she smiled at him and trailed her finger down his chest.

Rose beamed when she praised her english and Jane grew frustrated. Ikuto observed them quietly, following Serena into the other room to watch her set the table. He had barely started to lean against the wall when Nick slowly shuffled into the room, staring at the floor mournfully. "Nicholas..."

Jack's eyes watered as she walked away from him, "She's so scary...." Wiping his eyes, he attempted a brave face and followed after her, "Hey, uh, Annie...if...if you don't reset your hand it's not going to heal p-properly... I'm not as good as Ikuto...but....but please let me help!"

Richard dropped his hand and Sammy growled, her little balled up fist connecting with his nose. "You jerk! You just don't know when to shut up! I otta murderlize you!"

Valentine averted his gaze from hers, "I'm going to take that as a 'I wouldn't go'. I wouldn't be with you, Ceril. If I told you to leave town...it would be because the Lycan Hunters are coming in more concentrated numbers...and there would be more Vampire Hunters called in too. I will not risk your death for the sake of staying beside me."

Serena sighed, keeping her eyes on the table. She rubbed her temples and her eyes flashed to nick for but a moment. "you look rather defeated. How many times do I have to tell you, you need to try harder nicholas? If you really want annie, it's going to require more work than you've ever given before. That's why no one has won her over yet. they give up on trying. Honestly, I can understand why." serena examined the table, making sure it appeared to be right out of a magazine. She left the men to collect the mashed potatoes and the meat from the oven.

Annie kept walking away, refusing to listen. "it's fine! I don't need help from anyone in your stupid pack. You're all just going to cause trouble for my family. The lycan hunters we met last night will just be the start." her hand was throbbing, but she refused to let on. All annie cared about was getting away from the stupid pack wolf.

Vickie watched sammy punch richard and her eyes widened. "sammy! What are you doing? You're going to get us in trouble." she stood, worried, and pried herself out of utau's grip. Vickie pushed sammy down onto the beg and glanced at richard. "i'll-i'll go get serena. She won't get anyone in trouble." she hurried to the door and left everyone in her room.

Ceril continued to lie there looking disinterested. "and why, might I ask, would you not be coming with me?" she did need to leave. There was a job for her to do, but she didn't want to leave without him. Not when it was so dangerous at home.

Nick slumped down where he was at on the floor, his arm bending awkwardly beside him until he righted it and set it in his lap, "Ah, I'm not giving up. Don't get me wrong here...I can handle myself in a fight, but...Rosh cheated...using Annie's words to distract me. He dislocated my shoulder...I guess I should've seen it coming." Ikuto frowned and knelt beside him, "Serena...would you bring us a thick cloth, please? I'm going to pop it back into place, if you don't mind..I'd rather not have you biting my hands off afterwards and I don't think the children will like it hearing you scream like a child."

Jack persisted, following her, "Ah, you've got it wrong. I wasn't born in the pack. I was like you, living on my own...all alone in Alaska. My family was killed off by disease and the weather. Actually...the pack's leader, Kazuya and his wife found me and brought me to their pack." Jack's upbeat mood dampened, "Kazuya...is a cold, stand-offish man so I didn't really feel at home there. But...Mrs. Shibuya said that I make the house a bit brighter and she wanted me to stay. You see...I don't mind if you don't like the idea of being in a pack...but don't take it out on yourself. Let me see your hand."

Richard picked himself up, his nose bleeding and Sammy rubbed her fist.

Valentine sighed, patting her head, "Nothing escapes you. Because...I'll be killing all the Lycan Hunters in town so it's safe for you to return."

Serena returned with a towel and the bowl of mashed potatoes. She set the bowl on the table and tossed the towel to ikuto. Vickie came running out with tears in her eyes and grabbed serena by the leg. "sissy! Everyone...they're all fighting. I don't know what to do." serena sighed and hoisted vickie onto her hip. She stroked the little girl's head and gave her a kiss. "it'll be fine sweety. Let's go take care of this." serena started walking in the direction of the besrooms.
Annie slid down to the ground against a tree. "why won't you just leave me alone? I don't need your help." she held her hand closely to her chest.

Ceril smiled and gave valentine a kiss on the cheek. "and let you have all the fun? And what joy would that give me?" she smirked and sat back up. He worried too much. She could take care of herself.

Ikuto shoved the towel in Nick's mouth, waving gently to Vickie before taking Nick's arm and yanking it outwards and twisting slightly. Nick chomped down on the towel and snarled. "There...see? No harm done. I'm not even going to ask what you did to warrent Rosh's anger enough that he'd dislocate your shoulder...but it's better now so shut up, sit down and eat some food before we all get a phone call from the Alpha."

Jack sighed, kneeling in front of her, holding his hand out for hers, "I just told you. I'm not like them. If someone's hurt...the least I can do to earn my place here is to help out. So...q-quit complaining and let me help you....um...please?"

Valentine sat up, "I can't let you help me. Ceril...I get the feeling that no matter what I say you're going to remain here...aren't you...? Well...at least I won't be lonely."

Serena opened vickie's bedroom door and closed it behind her. She carried vickie to the bed and sat down, inspecting the children. "so, anyone wanna tell me what happened?" she rubbed vickie's arm and stroked utau's hair. She smiled at them all, even if the children were unhappy.

Annie sighed angrily and stuck her arm out for jack to examine. "fine. Whatever." she refrained from making eye contact with him. Her gaze stayed on the forest beside them. "i didn't agree to this."

Ceril clung to valentine, still smiling. "you won't ever have to be lonely again, and why exactly would I not be allowed to help you? I could help a lot. Plus there's no way I could allow you to fight all tye lycan hunters by yourself. It's dangerous, even if they are just humans." she ran her fingers through his hair and stood up.

Richard pointed at Sammy, "She hit me!" Sammy retaliated by jumping off the bed, causing Richard to flinch, "I only hit you because you were yelling at Vickie! You think you know so much about Utau...you aren't her parents! Nor are you even her friend! I am! I stayed with her when her parents died! You clung to your mommy while Ikuto and I took care of Utau!" Utau cringed into Serena's side. "Ikuto did everything to make her feel happy again....your family sat by while Kazuya tried to send her away! Ikuto--" The door opened and Ikuto poked his head inside, "I've sneezed about seven times already...either I'm catching a cold...or Sammy's running her big mouth and talking about me." Sammy clapped her hands over her mouth as he came in without being told to and pulled out a handkerchief to wipe the blood from Richard's nose. "You still have a beast of a right hook, Sammy. I told you to behave while we were here." His tricolored blue eyes slid to Sammy and the look in them was cold. Cold enough that Sammy whilted where she stood.

Jack pressed on points in Annie's hand and they made popping sounds as the bones were pushed back into the right places. "I kind of figured you wouldn't... When I met you...or rather...when Nick told our Alpha about you and he told us...I felt that you wouldn't be the type to accept us so easily. I just hope...even if you refuse to join the pack...that we can be friends. O-o-or well...at least aquaintances?"
