Bloody Nightmare

Nina bit her lip, feeling vampire fangs pierce her skin. She missed Suzaku and wondered where he'd gotten off to.

Balmore Manor: library

Valentine tilted his head to the side, "I see....not that fragile, huh?" Sharp, white fang glittered against his lips as he smiled and kissed her hard enough to move her head back so it hit against the bookshelf.

 

As Keel and Allen continued to follow behind Nina, Keel started to wonder where Suzaku was. "Any idea where Suzaku is? He asked.

ceril pursed her lips and glared at valentine for a moment. she figured he did it on purpose, but shook it off and kissed him back. her legs wrapped firmly around his waist and she rested her elbows on his shoulders. ceril ran her fingers through his hair and nibbled on his lip a little. "absolutely not."

 

Balmore Manor: library

Valentine felt himself relax and tense in one fluid motion. Maybe... he shook his head mentally, Ceril said she could take care of herself...why did he need to feel so much like the older days when being alone with her these multiple times would've already ruined her. Valentine shied away from her, his old fear back in his blue eyes. "I suppose...asking if...you've been with another man would be...redundant...wouldn't it... I'm...my brother....um...how can I... In...a sense of the word...I'm...a virgin...if you will." Speaking those words caused vampire women to laugh, seeing he was this old already and wasn't exactly wearing a chastity belt. Untangling himself from her legs and fingers he wandered over to a glass display of an old book. "I've...been with...I just never.... There's something wrong with me...isn't there?" "I'll say. Mr. Balmore hasn't ever spoken ill of you intentionally, but he did manage to skip over that part." Valentine's head jerked to the door and found Mirabelle pinning her hair back with bobby pins. "Mirabelle...!" She barely moved and finished with her hair before grabbing up a broom and feather duster, "I've work to do...and unless you intended to do some dusting with her panties...I suggest you keep it to a dull roar."

Luin

Nina shrugged, "Probably off being a goof getting himself into trouble. It's not really your concern. Suzaku does what he wants to. We've got our own mission to do right now."

ceril chuckled lightly and slid off of the edge of the desk. she walked over to valentine quietly and smiled at him. her eyes grazed over mirabelle picking up the broom and feather duster. "we were only having some fun. don't listen to her. there's nothing wrong with it. although, the library probably wouldn't be the best place to start. we wouldn't want it to look like my tree house." she tapped her finger on his nose jokingly and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "it is such a lovely room after all. mirabelle, do you need any help? i'm dressed a little more appropriately for cleaning today, rather then when yuka roped me into it yesterday." she gave valentine's hand a light squeeze. there was nothing wrong with him. it would only make their first time more thrilling and special.

 

"Okay, so what do we do when we find them?" Keel asked. "I'm pretty certain their not going to cooperate if they find out what out intentions are.

 

Balmore manor: library

Mirabelle rolled her eyes. "Sorry honey, Mr. Balmore doesn't like others touching his prized collection of books. You could take your...S&M toy to the kitchen and help Cooke." Valentine frowned, "S&M? Toy?" She fixed him with a solid red-eyed gaze and he squirmed. "Figures...you wouldn't know what it was since you're a "virgin"." she used two fingers as air quotes and started dusting off the gold framed pictures.

ceril chuckled some more and then pulled valentine toward the door. "have a lovely day mirabelle. we'll get out of your hair." she giggled once outside of the room. she hadn't been this happy in a long time and never acted so immature around the others. "valentine, maybe we should leave. it's a big house, but we seem to be in the way. i'd rather not be stuck here again when the sun comes up." ceril winked at him and headed back in the direction of the sanctuary.

 

Balmore Manor: library

Valentine frowned in confusion. "But I still haven't spoken with my brother. And what does she mean by toy? I'm not made of plastic or cloth. I assure you I'm flesh and blood."

Luin

Nina snarled behind her, "If you quit asking so many questions...I'd be able to figure that out. Lycan Hunters kill everything....including us... There was another guy that said he left his weapons on the side of the forest...he left and I'm guessing the Lycan Hunters found him before he found his weapons." Her little face grew grim as she stopped just in view of the cabin with the three wolves resting on the doorstep. "Werewolves....but no Hunters..."

ceril laughed some more and wrapped her arms around valentine's waist. "it's nothing dear. just ignore mirabelle. we can always come back. it's not like we're going anywhere or are limited on time." she gave him a kiss and batted her eyelashes at him. valentine had no idea what he was committing too with her. being much older and oddly enough far less experienced, he was in for a handful. a handful that he would have to spend the rest of his life with.

north woods: cabin
serena opened her eyes at the smell of vampires. she glanced down at annie and nick sleeping beside each other and stood up, quietly walking away from the cabin. she didn't want any unnecessary fighting so close to home and as she walked over to them she changed back. serena untied her robe from her ankle and slipped it on, wrapping the belt around her waist. her blond hair reflected in the moonlight and she smiled at the three damphir that were lurking nearby."can i help you all with something?"

 

Balmore Manor

Valentine was less than pleased that she'd dodged his question again. "I'm not a toy....and I don't know what S&M is but I'm sure it doesn't apply to me. I assure you and I'll assure Mirabelle if need be I am flesh and blood. Not cloth and plastic." His blue eyes held a tint of panic to them as he held her to him.

Cabin

In his sleep, Nick licked the ground as though he were french kissing someone.

Nina tensed as the wolf morphed into a girl. Nina was the height of a little girl about seven years old but she gripped her sword in an age old nervous habit. "We're looking for someone."

ceril sighed in his arms and studied him with her red eyes. "valentine, it's a sex thing. mirabelle doesn't mean you're a literal toy, but here for my amusement and pleasure." she winked at him when she said pleasure. "also, s&m is another sex thing. it refers to the act of role-playing in the bedroom or using devices. along with anything else you may use for sex that wouldn't normally be used for." ceril smiled at him awkwardly.

serena continued to smile at them politely. "well i can assure you, whomever you may be looking for is not here. i would appreciate it if you left peacefully, unless you wanted to stay for breakfast. it's kind of my specialty." she stuffed her hands in the pocket of her robe and smirked. nobody could usually turn down one of her meals, but they were part vampire. they wouldn't dare step foot in her home.

 

anthony's office~~

anthony wore malicious smile on is face as he looked at the files on this computer screen. He thought back to me as promised to Yeul. He pressed a button on his desk, activating the intercom on Yeul's desk. "Yeul," anthony began, "when should we leave to find your sons? You do have a plan, right?"

 

Balmore Manor

Valentine looked away from her, if the old vampire had enough blood in his system he would've blushed. The awkwardness on his face was plain enough. "O-oh....I...I didn't think Mirabelle would know so much about...that... I suppose I should...stop treating her like a fledgling. The sun will be rising soon...if we want to go back to your place the time would be now. Otherwise...we'll be stuck here...."

Cabin

Nina restrained her human half and gave Serena a cold stare, "No thank you. I can see the people I'm looking for aren't here...I'll just have to look elsewhere. We'll see you around." though she doubted it. Nina led the others away from the werewolves and rubbed her eyes. With the sun rising, she was getting tired.

Bank

Yeul hesitated before responding to Anthony. After the night they'd had, she didn't want to go anywhere with him. "Thank you, but I think I'll look for them myself. It's nearly dawn outside...."

ceril smiled at valentine's awkwardness. she was going to avoid telling him, but he insisted on the truth. the truth clearly embarrassed him. "yeah, we better get going." she winked at him and looped her finger into his collar, dragging him toward the door. "i think we better hurry."

serena watched them leave and smiled some more. it was almost too easy to get rid of them. she waved goodbye at their fleeting backs. "all right. have a nice day." she chuckled lightly and then turned to head back in the direction of the cabin. annie appeared to have changed back in her sleep and she sighed. her sister never prepared for the aftermath. she was lying there on the ground naked. serena opened the front door and headed to the bathroom, grabbing annie's robe off of the hook. she also grabbed a blanket for nick, before returning to the outside and tossing the clumps of fabric on the two of them.

 

Balmore Manor

Valentine started to smile as he followed her, but the movement was awkward on his lips and he struggled with it. If it wasn't a sadistic smile or one of madness, he couldn't quite get it right. Though he still feared for her safety, acting like a greenboy stealing his first kiss wasn't in his personality.

Cabin

Nick changed shortly after Annie and spit out dirt. Rubbing his eyes, he grumbled, "Why's there dirt in my mouth? Wow I smell awful...like...sheep and...fema-- Annie? No..." He seemed to have his own conversation with himself as he looked up, blinking to find Serena and Annie on the ground. Rubbing a hand through his hair he flipped over onto his back and yawned, "Now I remember. That's right...Annie..." A slow smile spread across his face and he jerked himself to his feet, wrapping the blanket around his waist. "Mornin'."

 

Anthony's office~~

"If you're sure," Anthony said, half suspicious. "It would be rude of me to not see you off "

ceril glanced back at valentine behind her. she smiled at his awkwardness. it was cute how new at all of this he was. it made her feel responsible to help him teach him relationships, which gave her a new sense of purpose. he was sweet once you got past the intolerable facade. although, she was actually able to tolerate it. to put up with him long enough to eventually see the delightful side of him.

annie groped at the robe resting on top of her. she could hear nick talking, but it wasn't really registering in her head. she stood up as serena said good morning back to nick and pulled the robe on over her arms. annie wrapped the belt around her waist and had to squint in the early morning light. "is anyone else soar? 'cause my arms are killing me for some reason." she watched serena shake her head wearing a smile and sighed. "what?" "nothing. it's not important."

 

Road to the Church

Valentine walked quietly beside her. Conversation escaped him and it had been a long time since he'd had to make small talk with anyone. Long enough that he dated it back to when he'd lived at home with his father and mother. But Yeul was dead...and their father...probably as insane and cold-hearted as usual. "Ceril....I'm not going to apologize for what happened at Seth's place....or lack there of. But...if I can't control my power...you'll stop won't you?" It was written on his face his biggest worry and fear was his power would tear her home to shreads and she would burn in the sunlight.

Cabin

Nick draped his arm across Annie's shoulders, "If your arms hurt...then we should avoid doing things involving our arms. Unfortunate for us...the pack will be coming today. Luckily...there isn't an airport here so they'll come by car. Or maybe that's the unfortunate part..." He frowned and shrugged it off. Grinning at Annie, Nick winked at her, "I'm surprised you don't remember last night. You were practically all over me. Not that I was objecting or didn't like it."

 

road to church
ceril stopped walking, her red eyes staring into valentine's blue. she sighed and took his hands. self-control was something she had only ever applied to feeding. it was going to take some time in these new circumstances. "i promise. if it's that important to you, i'll stop." she gave his hands a quick squeeze and then started walking in the direction of the forest some more.

annie stared at nick hard. her eyes searched for some sign that he was kidding, but he didn't appear to be. "i was not." she turned quickly in the direction of the front door and marched inside. serena shrugged at nick and grimaced. "she'll be stubborn until the day she dies. i'm sorry. you still want to involve yourself with my sister?" the way she said it sounded more like she was concerned for him than anything else, like annie would be too much work to handle. she probably was. lord knows how much work serena had gone through to tolerate spending all her waking time with her twin. they were definitely fraternal.
